Royal Roger Eubanks

Eubanks was born in Tahlequah, the capital of the Cherokee Nation, in 1879. He was both a teacher and superintendent at the Cherokee Male Seminary. Besides teaching, he also was a commercial artist, illustrating short stories and producing political cartoons for the Cherokee Nation newspaper.
