Alexander Hamilton was born on January 11 in the late 1750’s. He most likely lied about his age due to people not being able to figure out what year he was born in. He wrote about his birth and he stated it was 1755. But, researchers say that he was most likely born in 1757.
Hamilton was raised in the West British Indies until he was abandoned by his parents. His mother died when he was 11 and he had an abusive father. He would call Hamilton and his brother “Sons of a Whore”. His father then left him and his brother. Hamilton then moved in with a shop owner, and he began to learn a lot for his age.
