Night by Elie Wiesel includes one horrific story when the Jews are being transported on trains. Bread is thrown into the trains by Germans standing by. This story tells us how relationship between fathers and sons changed. The relationship between fathers and sons is one of the strongest bond you can have. The Jews were badly mistreated. They were starved and beaten and driven to death. This horrible mistreatment led sons to turn against fathers and vise versa. In this passage from Night Wiesel tells us about a son killing his father for a piece of bread. Another passage Wiesel tells us is a son leaving his father while they were running because they were falling behind. Wiesel continues to struggle with this thought.
