Andrew Jackson’s beliefs are clearly democratic, meaning he believed that a growing wealth and power in the business community may erode the equality of ordinary citizens. This party was also known as the ‘Jackson Party’.

Andrew jackson was a important cotributor and one of the most influential presidents to ever serve the country. He took on the countries domestic issues and used his executive power far to its extent. Jackson effectivly evicted the native americans which stopped the conflict between the colonists. He vetoed the second bank of america, terminating the recharter bill from ever becoming a law. Also, he avoided south carolina’s seceding from the union.

Andrew Jackson, the seventh president of the US was born on the 15th day of March 1767 in South Carolina. In 1812, he was elected as the judge of Tennessee superior court when war with Britain broke. In his tenure as the major general, he led American forces to various victories. He commanded the US forces in a five-month campaign against the Creek Indians and worn the war in 1812. In mid-1814, Jackson led his forces yet to another victory over the British in New Orleans battle.

Andrew Jackson, engaged in brawls and fought for what he believed was right and never took no for an answer. Jackson was the Seventh President of the United States and was the preeminent actor in American politics between Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson. He was seeking to act as the direct representative of the common man and was known as a man of the people. The toughness and fiery will he possessed gave him the nickname, “Old Hickory”. Andrew Jackson’s life was marked with controversy but he was a great leader who turned adversity into success.

He had a nickname for his strict ways and being tough as “Old Hickory.” His wife was Rachel Jackson, who was a devoted wife and loving person to her friends and family.

The era of Andrew Jackson which was nicknames the era of the “common man” certainly lived up to its name. As the seventh President of the United States, Jackson had a major effect on the life of the common man, in such a way that the life of the common man would never be the same again. Jackson’s aim, after the manner in which he was defeated in the Presidential Election of 1824, despite receiving more popular votes than John Quincy Adams who took on the office, was to reduce the power and the authority of the elite. When he came into power after the 1828 election Jackson began to carry out his proposals. Jackson expanded the voting right to all men, in accordance with the Declaration of Independence of 1776 which declared that “all men are created equal” instead of just the elite.

Andrew Jackson was born in Waxhaw, South Carolina, March 15, 1767, and died June 8, 1845 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was known as the man of the people. People deem him ‘the common man of the people’ because he bribed his ignorant fans, supporters and illiterate farmers (who made up 90% of the populace) so he could have their votes (the ‘spoils system’). I see Andrew Jackson as a person who disobeys the constitution and violates people 's rights.

Andrew Jackson was the first "people’s president”. His humble frontier heritage and heroic title won support throughout the nation. Jackson was in touch with the common man and had respect for him. This for once, allowed the “people” to have a more dominant role in government, which is something that America prides itself upon today. However, this “people’s president” presidency was plagued with controversy.

Andrew Jackson, being a tyrant, abused his power in his time of presidency.   He was the 7th president, but before Jackson’s presidency, he had no political experience. One of the only things that really qualified him was the hardships he went through when he was younger. His father had died while Jackson was young and Jackson received the reputation as a “self-made man”, or an independent man.

Andrew Jackson during his time was considered a very patriotic politician he hated the rich, he hated the Indian, and loved the idea of slavery. It has been said that he grew up not educated and had a bad up bring but still managed to get to a high political suture. Jackson at one point was general and had a very decorated portfolio, which made sense he would become president, Andrew was most well know for “The Battle of New Orleans” where Andrew Jackson, prevented the British Army and General Edward Pakenham, from seizing New Orleans nearing the end of that war.

Andrew Jackson was a tough man. He even went by the name of ‘Old Hickory’. Andrew Jackson was a terrible president, but also a good president. There are many reasons why Andrew Jackson was a bad president. These are only the few reasons that we all already know or they are major events stated in US history.

He was given this nickname because he was considered “as rough as the bark on a hickory tree.” He was born on March 15, 1761 in what is present day North and South Carolina. He was born to a widowed mother who had emigrated from Ireland two year prior. During his youth he attended several different academies in the Carolinas.

Andrew Jackson is the epitome of a villain. If portrayed in a movie Jackson would be seen as the cruel murderous man who everyone couldn’t help but dislike, but somehow he still managed to be on the twenty dollar bill. Jackson was born into a poor family in 1767. From there on Jackson was a rebellious teen who happened to be imprisoned at the age of thirteen. Once Jackson grew up he experienced a great number of occupations from a lawyer, to a general, he finally chose to enter the world of politics.

Andrew Jackson was known during his presidency due to the significant events and changes. First, he promoted democracy. To promote democracy, he allowed more citizens to take part in government (Spoil System) and vetoed the bill to renew the charter to prevent rich people from taking advantage.
