As a group, society gets uncomfortable when it comes to women’s sexuality and nudity, especially in public. Natalie Angier, a journalist and New York Times best-selling author, is not intimidated when it comes to these matters. In her book An Intimate Geography, Angier explores the female body and all of its wonders. This novel opened my eyes and my attitudes to many events that are happening in society. When reading Natalie Angier’s book, the element that captivated my attention the most was the chapter regarding breasts, titled Circular Reasoning.
Geography is many things, all of which can be mapped or put on paper in some way. The question more difficult to put an answer to is simply this: what cannot be defined as geography? Although it may include a very broad number of things, geography has three parts: first, graphing of physical features, second, graphing of human interactions with each other, and third, graphing of human interaction with their environment. First, Geography focuses on graphing physical features. Physical features help determine weather and climate.

Piaget and Vygotsky provide their distinct differences in their theories; however they share many similarities. These two theorists expanded their beliefs in how they thought a child would progress throughout the years of growing. This brought many different opinions as well as some advantages to each of their theories. Some of the differences between the two theorists are derived from the theoretical experiences and language, culture, and education. Piaget and Vygotsky both shared a common knowledge from either having training or background as biologists.
Development during the preschool years is crucial because of the physical development, and experience, one learns from. Although there are the characteristics of the body changing the brain of a preschooler grows faster rate than any other body part. By the time a child reaches the age of 5, the brain is already 90% of the average adult brain. Nevertheless, health is also a concern during this age because of the nutrition a child needs, environment, illnesses, injuries, maltreatment, child abuse, and more. Not only is the physical growth important, the cognitive development is also a key subject during the preschool years since the brain is growing at such a rapid rate.
