Just as they were in control when blacks were ordered around as slaves by plantation owners, they are now ordered around by the powerful white men that fund and oversee their college; there isn 't really any change that took place, it 's just masked by the pretty landscape of the college

The "black table" could be a problem since it promotes segregation and isolation of a specific group. By having a designated table for a certain group creates descrimination to one 's self or others. In a school there should be diversity in which the students should be comfortable to socialize. Therefore, restricting others from the "black table" for any reason is creating division. Many years ago individuals faught for integrity and equality, therefore, the "black table" is ignoring the fight that was once made.

Statement of Purpose In light of recent events and social media uproar, the goal of this argumentative paper is to provide a brief but comprehensive understanding to the concept of the black lives matter movement and slogan. The movement is an affirmation of Black people’s contributions to society, humanity, and their resilience in the face of oppression. (“About,” n.d.) Chris McCandless was in his early 20’s, he was the kind of that guy that wanted to learn and experience life without all of the material things. He wanted to be independent from his parents and friends so Chris did something that would be insane for most of us humans but to him, it wasn’t. “The Problem of Evil” is simply the question, why does God allow evil to happen? God is omnipotent, omniscient, all-loving, and rational, therefore why does evil exist? There is either no God or he is not what we think he is, since evil could be prevented by him with no risk. Atheists and anti-theodicist see a problem with the idea that God could prevent evil. They believe that because God is so powerful and perfect, that he would not allow such immoral actions to be done.

However, with diversity comes inequalities that people of color face throughout their lives. A particular issue in the United States, specifically in education, is unequal opportunities and treatment in regard to race. Research shows that students from single-parent black families had a high chance of dropping out and participating in illicit behavior (Hallinan 54).
