8. AYURVEDIC MASSAGE AND HERBS Ayurvedic massage has been practiced in India for around 5000 years. It is used to balance the physical, mental and emotional body. There are around twenty different types of ayurvedic massage and each one is aimed at treating specific health imbalances. In some regions of India treatments are given daily for up to one month each year to treat and prevent dis-ease and to delay the aging process.
