They were partners in crime. Their friendship is represented with the superheroes. Robin is always there to support Batman in life or death situation. Batman holds down a Robin when he is folding down. Batman and Robin treats each other like brothers.

Keanu Reeves can be compared to Batman because they both help others because they have experienced the same events. Batman fights crime for Gotham because his parents were killed by a criminal. While Keanu donates his money to cancer research because his sister has battled leukemia for over ten years. Bruce Wayne uses Batman to hide who he is and that he is actually the one who is saving Gotham. Similarly, Keanu never attaches his name to any donations he makes to the organizations to keep from being the attention seeker.

However, the most intriguing topic concerning Batman’s mental stability was the evaluation of Batman’s love life. Batman has fallen in love but he lives a life of mystery and interacts with a false identity. To keep Gotham citizens unaware that Batman is Bruce Wayne, Bruce wears a bat-suit which is a dark outfit that includes a night bat-like mask while fighting crime. To further conceal his identity from the world, Bruce gave his real name an alter-ego that has the personality of a wealthy playboy while he acts out his true identity as Batman. Thus, Batman is unable to maintain a romantic relationship with anyone due to intimacy and his alter-ego, regardless if Batman wants a love life or not.

Batman also wears black because so no can see him plus he wants to dress like bat. Superman different from Batman because Superman can shoot lasers from his eyes and breaths out ice. Superman also wears blue and red and fights in Metropolis city.

Batman has not got many weaknesses maybe just misfortune. His allies often turns against him. That is why he is so thankful for Catwoman and she is the person he relies on the most. However Catwoman still misses some stability and she loves to rely on herself. Maybe she still need some time to understand what does true love mean.

In the novel Lord of the flies, the beast was one of the main conflicts. Fear is that drove the existence of the beast. Fear is what drove the existence of the beast because fear gave the boys a false illusion of the island being dangerous/evil. For instance, when the boy with the mulberry mark said he saw a snake, in reality it was vines hanging from the trees. The boys are in a new environment where everything was tainted by fear.

Who is better? Who is stronger? Craig Silvey refers to batman in the novel, explaining that he has not actual superpowers, it’s just his tremendous bravery and drive to continue fighting, that makes batman a strong as he is. On page 70, is the first time Silvey refers to batman in the novel, where Charlie says, “Batman has the same vulnerabilities as the rest of us, so he has the same fears as us. That’s why he is the most courageous: because he can put those aside and fight on regardless”.

Fear is a powerful human emotion, it's built in within all humans and controls the human behaviour. It is human nature to allow fear to control people’s thoughts and behaviors, preventing them from being their true selves, as seen is “The Step Not Taken”, “A Nonsmoker with a Smoker” and Bowling for Columbine. In the essay “The Step Not Taken” Paul was followed into an office-building by a well-dressed young man carrying a briefcase. Shortly after, the young man burst into tears, Paul stepped out of the elevator very confused as to why the young man was crying.

“Movies are like an expensive form of therapy for me”(Burton). Tim Burton, a very mysterious and dark director, had produced many unsettling but fantastic movies. Edward Scissorhands and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are two very well produced movies from him, which feature common themes shown with appropriate cinematic elements. Tim Burton uses tilt, low key lighting, and non-diegetic sounds in Edward Scissorhands and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to convey how creepiness can lead to curiosity. Tilts are generally used to show the vertical significance of something.

All his enemies constantly give Batman brutal beatings, but he always walks away from the fight (see appendix 1).
