Billy Barker was a sailor from Cambridge shire, England who struck gold in 1862. Billy was Born in England around 1819 as he grew up he Worked with his father as a waterman cutting and logging trees, and working for a sawmill. In 1845 railroads started taking over and the work slowed down in England Billy was losing jobs and money became scarce so he went to North America in search of a new job to keep his funds up. In 1850 Billy worked on a California gold mine in a small town called Lillooet, not having much luck in finding gold so in 1862 Billy barker moved to the area near Richfield to work on several mines that he owned. He spent the winters in Victoria and then he met and married his second wife. His fortune eventually ran out so he went back to being a miner and never found as big as find as Barkerville. In 1880 Billy moved to the town of Clinton and lived in at the Dominion Hotel until 1894 that year he moved to Victoria to live in a nursing home where he went to seek medical treatment for what seems to have been either jaw cancer or Parkinson’s disease. Even though July 11 1894 Billy died in Victoria B.C. and was buried at Ross bay cemetery Barkerville still remains open. Unlike many gold rush towns in this era Barkerville still remains open and thriving with rich historic remarks and there judge who put many criminals behind bars. My opinion on Billy barker is he is a good guy and very successful in life with all his great decisions he is defiantly a historical

Frederick Banting is a name that unfortunately like so many, has became less familiar with the average Canadian as the years go by. It is because of this that so many do not see the significance with his name as opposed to other well known Canadians today. Familiarity aside, Frederick Banting is decisively, one of the most important Canadians to have ever walked the earth potentially having an impact on the entire human species up to present day. Sir Frederick Grant Banting was born on November 14th, 1891 in Alliston, a small settlement in the town of Tecumseth approximately 60 kilometers north of Toronto. Frederick grew up in a large family of seven and remained a fairly regular boyhood on his family farm.
It’s scary how fear can take the place of everything else in someone’s mind, even a person’s sense of judgement. Fear changed the life of a former SEAL trainee. Dustin Turner, (also known as Dusty) and Billy Joe Brown were accused and convicted of murdering Jennifer Evans in Virginia on June 19, 1995 at a nightclub. Many people see this tragic night differently, but the truth is, only those three-people witnessed this and only two are alive to tell their stories. Sadly, two people aren’t always going to have one same situation.
Rob Bell argues that no one will spend eternity in hell because eventually God will save all people. From my perspective, I believe Mr. Bell is a “Universalist” which basically means he believes all people will eventually be saved through Christ. It took me a while to wrap my head around the idea of just anyone getting into heaven. I came to agree with Mr. Bell to a certain because its highly plausible that Hell is purgatorial with God sentencing unworthy people to Hell for a reformation. Now I believe God leaves this door open before and after death because that’s the type of almighty being we were taught about.
That same night, Billy claims that he was kidnapped by aliens existing in the fourth dimension, where they view everything completely differently. After spending a couple of nights on the planet of Tralfamadorian, Billy was warped back to Earth at the same time that he was kidnapped. He kept quiet about this odd incident until he got into a plane crash, where he finally confessed about his alien abduction. Most people didn’t believe him, and his daughter thought that her father had gone insane. Billy would eventually go on a radio show to tell his stories about his alien abduction and the Tralfamadorians’ concept of time.

The lost Dutchman Mine is one of Arizona’s greatest legends. It is said to be in the Superstition Mountains near Apache Junction and east of Phoenix. The mine was named after a German immigrant named Jacob Waltz which was born in 1810 and he died in 1891. It was named that way because in America a common term for a “German” is “Dutchman”. It is most likely one of the most famous mine in American history.

“Struck dead by an angel of God! Yet the angel must hang.” (Captain Vere) Some believe Billy Budd, the young and innocent sailor, should not have been sentenced to death. Others believe Billy Budd should have been sentenced to death.
In the early 19th century, Herman Melville’s literary works highlighted the philosophical yet realistic experiences of experienced yet conflicted sailors, while he tinkers with various literary styles and forms. As he loved writing about philosophy, in Moby Dick, he characterized Ishmael as a curious yet concrete man as he journeyed through life initially as blind. At first, his point of view was the fact that the sea was his calm, undying death bed. But as he lived on as a sailor, his viewpoint changed.
