Billy Should Have Import Claggart

Billy was a very smart man. Billy got straight A’s. But when Billy was a senior (in Whooper high ) Billy played football.

Then he snuck up on a guard and shot him to death with his own pistol. Then he got a double barreled shotgun and gunned down a second guard then he escaped. After he escaped death he went and hid out for a while but he didn't keep a low profile for long when sheriff pat garret rode up on a ranch he was staying at. Then billy rode up and went inside to his room where the sheriff was waiting for him where he shot him dead. He fired two shots one hit him in the heart killing him

“A man who caught his arm actually smiled saying "your friend dropped this" Billy was amazed and pleased this unusual helpfulness "oh gee thanks"he said. He tore up the package on the escalator." so he chased after his friends” This quote show how billy was very gullible and trust

The first person Billy killed was a man who insulted his mother. He was bullied a lot and was in a fight when he quickly pulled his gun out and shot the person dead. Billy was now a wanted man. He fled to the Pecos Valley where he was drawn into the cattle wars which were in progress. Billy traveled to Arizona

For the next two years, Billy took residence at what formerly was Fort Sumner, turned into a village, also where he murdered someone at a saloon, and framed for the Sheriff of White Oak’s death. Destroying his public reputation yet again, Billy was on the run and he avoided the law until newly hired sheriff Pat Garret took him into custody on December 23, 1880. He was to be hung on April 28, 1881, but with a daring escape, he killed two more men, this time, James Bell and Bob Olinger, the officers assigned to sentry over him in the penitentiary. While he escaped this time, Garret was determined to apprehend the rascal, once again discovering him inconspicuously making a living at Fort Sumner. Garrett ended the Kid’s life, shooting him through the heart.

Billy in no means was a rambo-esque type bloodthirsty killer, but more the awkward what am I doing here type instead. The innocent optometrist was once again forced into a stressful situation. He was the topic of deliberate bullying from other enlisted men, reasons being from his inability to sleep through the night, which could be linked directly to his traumatic experiences when he was younger, to the fact he couldn't keep up with the other men while participating in physical exercise. This lead to a group of men being killed which i’m sure didn't help bialys conscious. The stress only added up more when Billy had to experience the bombing of the beautiful city of dresden in a meat locker.

Billy had more skill then most of the team, he thought by playing at the division three level he would receive more playing time then he was actually getting. Half way through the season he was very upset and developed a strong dislike

One reason why Billy’s punishment was undeserved is Billy hit Claggart out of self defense and fear. The viewers learn that Billy is an innocent and disabled man throughout the movie. Claggart begins to question Billy about numerous untrue ideas. When Claggart begins to accuse Billy of starting a mutiny, Billy begins to feel afraid. Out of fear and for self defense, Billy strikes Claggart on the head.

how billy compares it to the moon is a perfect comparison because the moon is lifeless, dark, and dusty just like dresden. this shapes billy’s psychological traits by ending billy’s war experience with one final tragedy. it showed him that life was precision and could be taken away in a minute even if that one moment was bad for those soldiers and civilians, just the fact that they all got wiped out with one little bomb shows that war always goes too far and a people are people and instead of destroying each other they should work

In the story, “Fighter” by Walter Dean Myers, and throughout the story, Billy is fighting himself and life. First off, in beginning of the story it states on page 27, “Billy Gates told his wife that he was just going to the gym to work out. If he’d told her the truth, that he was going to fight again, he knew she would have cried.” I think this shows that Billy is going to fight, but he knows his wife does not want him to fight. But, he knows that he needs to fight, but not necessarily wants to fight.

Because of Dependent Personality Disorder, not only did Billy feel the need to have a relationship with someone but his relationship was ruined because of his fearful

Courage is Earned! Courage can't just be said it has to be shown. In the book Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry by Mildred Taylor, Mr. L.T. Morrision is the most brave, loyal, and kind person you will meet. Mr. Morrison showed courage by standing to the Wallaces, he moved Kaleb Wallace's car off the road, and when he stayed with the Logans even though he could get hurt Mr. Morrison’s actions proved that he knows what is right and he is going to stand up for that no matter what. Even though his parents were killed by whites, he stays calm and knows exactly how to deal with the situation.

Cornel West discusses courage in many aspects. In the first section, he talks about how it takes courage to examine yourself. Often times, we are quick to judge others on their decisions and beliefs. However, when the tables are turned around, we cower when having to criticize ourselves. In order to help fix the flaws in our system, we need to be able to critically think about ourselves.

In almost everything he does he is the odd man out. Billy seems like the weird person who just always seems out of place and like he doesn't belong. 1969 was the year that this book was published. PTSD was discovered in 1980, so therefore in the book they couldn't define Billy’s condition. As even in reality they didn't know what it was.
