I think that black lives matter too because everybody is important and should get treated the same way and just because one black person does something doesn't mean all black people are bad people. Like if a black person robs a store or something people think that all black people are that way but we aren't because there are some people that rob stores and commit crimes too that aren't black. That's why i think that people are making such a big deal about it and especially the things that happened in the past that's what really makes it bad like if none of that happened then it probably wouldn't be such a big deal about whenever black people get shot by a white person or something. And people think we run from the cops because we did something bad. No that's not everybody's reason the real reason is because they might be scared that they are gonna get there life taken away for no reason or they gonna get shot or something. Like ik that …show more content…
And whenever a black person sags or something its a problem but whenever white people sags nobody says nothing. And i just really wish that this would just change because there is too much going on right now and people just don't understand what black people really go through like dss and they always getting called poor and drug dealers but people don't really give black people a chance to prove themselves like some of us try not to do anything but we do it to survive. And sometimes we get tested like if somebody talks about us and expect us to straight up fight but no all black people are like that and whenever a white person tests the and the wrong black person just messes it up for every black person like. I mean black people try to be independent because of the past but nobody understands that but some black people will fight and there are some white people that will fight faster than black people
When will this stop? Dose African America lives won’t matter? Or, our life only matters based on our skin color? I think individually we all believe that each of our life has equal value. We are born to have the equal rights, happiness, freedoms, and opportunist for succeed.
Every human being on earth deserves to be treated with dignity and respect and we should all be treated equally. Unfortunately, Black people do not have the privilege of white people. Throughout the years many innocent people were killed and arrested for being people of color. For example, an unarmed black person can get killed by a white cop who is armed. The white-armed cop can get away with it easily for having a white police privilege.
However the term “All Lives Matter” has become the counter argument. “All Lives Matter” believes that no one particular live should be singled out, but they fail to realize that “Black Lives Matter” is not saying “Black” lives are more important it is saying the focus right now is “Black” lives. If all lives truly mattered “Black Lives Matter” would not have to be headline. Also, if “All Lives matter” were true, everyone would be outraged about the fact that there has been no justice for these ruthless executions. Instead
“Black Lives Matter “is a recent example of Black Rhetoric within the media. Dating back to the unfortunate events that took place in Ferguson with the shooting of a young black male named Michael Brown, the even has grown infamously and famously depending on which side you tend to agree with. Countless people have given their input on the situation and not all blacks tend to agree with the movement of “Black Lives Matter”. Recently a women named Peggy Hubbard went on a rant about how she felt the movement was an unjust movement. Ms. Hubbard stated that saying black lives matter was implying that no other lives within the community mattered.
Black lives have been taken away from officers for nearly 2 decades the reason why is still unknown. The” movement” is a great way to raise awareness to what the media is blind to admit that police brutality, cruelty and unjustified killings. Black lives matter also raises bails for wrongfully convicted black people. The fact that the media is just know realizing is just absurd. Police have killed 780 people in the year of 2016 alone.
Sometimes the blacks are ill-treated indescribably because of the racism.
Alicia Garza: co-creator of the #BlackLivesMatter movement (BLM) advocates that -“Black Lives Matter doesn’t mean your life isn’t important – it means that Black lives, which are seen as without value within White supremacy, are important to your liberation. Given the disproportionate impact state violence has on Black lives, we understand that when Black people in this country get free, the benefits will be wide-reaching and transformative for society as a whole. When we are able to end the hyper-criminalisation of Black people and end the poverty, control and surveillance of Black people, every single person in this world has a better shot at getting and staying free. When Black people get free, everybody gets free.” (The Conversation,2017).
How come people are treating African Americans differently than how they treat white people? People believe that we treat African Americans differently is because of their skin color and because they think that they are bad. American people are just as bad, people think just because their skin color that they are “up to no good.” In the modern world people don't separate them as much as they did back then. In this book there is something bad that happens.
Black people, on the other hand, can see clearly the past in which they were slaves and then segregated but white people still believe in the “Dream”, they can’t see the reality and therefore this translates to the danger of black people because they can’t feel or see what they are going through and the danger they face every
We believe all lives matter but african american lives are being targeted the most. Some people say racism is coming back. That 's one of the main reason why african americans and many others are protesting on black lives
African Americans have been treated unjustly for many years. At some point congress thought it was a time for change. This led to the Civil War, where America fell apart over equal rights for slaves. When North won, the slaves were freed, and Congress made three new amendments to the Constitution. Luckily, for the blacks the 15th Amendment was added to the Constitution.
I say this because of what is portrayed in the media, the people I have been raised with, and racism itself in the black community. Keep in mind that this is from my own personal experiences and perspective so everything I say is just applies from my point of
The African American population has contributed so much to this country and we still don't get the respect we deserve. Society expects us to fail, drop out of school, live a life of crime. Society expects me to have four kids and three baby mamas and on probation bc I can't pay child support. Society expects me to deal drugs and be in gang related activities. If I am walking through a wealthy neighborhood after dark society expects
People wondered if us african americans can be equal. Since the beginning of time us african american people we’ve been slaves until 1865. People treats us like if we aren’t nothing. They don’t give us the right to do anything, we are human beings too. We are the same just because our color is different it doesn’t mean anything.
The perception that all black man are associated with crimes, is a big problem. In the article " People Like Us " by David Brooks he shows that diversity can be a effect from the cause , that black men are often associated with crimes. In the article " Just Walk On By" by Brent Stales, he also shows some effect to his life due to the cause that black man are associated with crimes. Where ever you go , most people associate black man with crime. People are so narrow minded and don’t learn about other cultures or even people in general they end up judging others.
