The reason this question is in this category is because people had a lot of success raising the chances of beating cancer and therefore, using scientific means to find a cure against cancer. The reason it doesn’t fit in questions which states that science questions that have been answered is because: first there is no real cure against cancer yet which is why it is being addressed.
