Introduction
Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) was a Swiss psychiatrist who was the founder of the analytical school of psychology. The work of Gustav Jung defies the exact classification by conceding that medicine detoured him from the primary preoccupations. Jung classified himself as an empirical scientist dedicated to the study of psychic manifestation. The erudition of Jung encompassed a variety of subjects including theology, mysticism, world mythologies, and physical science among others. Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) was born in Czechoslovakia and is known for dedicating his life to the field of psychoanalysis. The two met in 1907 when Freud was fifty-one while Jung was thirty-one. Despite the two-decade age difference, each man was at the turning point in his individual capacity. Jung concentrated much on the vaunting ambition of developing an expression of his knowledge. Freud, on the

Freud believes on religion resembles Marxist approach. Under Marxist approach, religion is viewed as an opiate of masses. Conversely, Jung argued that religion was an important aspect to the life of an individual as he or she began self-actualization and exploring the inner self. Freud believed that most of the human activities were either expressed sexually with unfulfilled sexuality contributing to pathological problems. Jung argued against this premise by stating that sex constituted many aspects of human life. Importantly, Jung believed the desire of individuation and fullness of knowledge constituted the major driving force of human life. Additionally, Jung felt that many emotions make humans to act in an unhealthy manner with the sole desire entailing wholesome
Both men agreed that one’s worldview impacts their experience of happiness throughout life. Only Lewis resolved his pessimistic worldview when he converted to Christianity. Freud basked in his pessimistic worldview until death and he never attempted to change it since he was an atheist. As a Christian who has seen people convert to Christianity from an atheistic background, it would have been fascinating to see how Freud’s life would have been different had he been convinced of Christ.

That made Freud strive to become someone that would leave everyone else in the dust. Although many people didn’t believe in what he believed in there were just as many people that did. He is well known for the ideas of the unconscious, infantile sexuality, and repression. The Psychoanalytic Theory
Nietzsche’s influence extended beyond philosophy to psychology. Notably, Sigmund Freud, the architect of psychoanalysis and analytic psychology founder, Carl Jung are said to be influenced by Nietzsche’s work (Brians, 1998). Although Nietzsche’s work left impressions on several other twentieth century psychologists, including Alfred Adler, Abraham Maslow and Ayn Rand, for the purpose of this essay the effect on Freud and Jung’s work will be in primary focus. Jung was fascinated by Nietzsche and his work. From Jung’s student days to him being a pioneer in the psychoanalytic movement, Jung read and developed his own thoughts regarding Nietzsche’s ideas and work (Rensma, 2012).
Sigmund Freud and Michel Foucault are two of the very influential thinkers of early twentieth century. Sigmund Freud a c is mainly renowned as the “Father of psycho analysis”. His works are mainly on the complex-system of mind and the psychoanalysis (Thornton, 2001, p. 1). Foucault says, "the goal of my work during the last twenty years has not been to analyze the phenomena of power, nor to elaborate the foundations of such an analysis. My objective, instead, has been to create a history of the different modes by which, in our culture, human beings are made subjects. "
During the psychoanalysis there were a lot of complicated ideas in such sciences as psychology, philosophy and literature. It was hard to find the reasons why he became such a famous psychologist and philosopher, and there are only two things that are really important in his writings: it is the individual structure and his archetypes. Jung thought that psychology is the science of the future. The main problem for him was not the Global Warming or a big atomic catastrophe, the main was the psycho epidemic. So in our life only people can help to each other, and the main factor of the populations epidemic is problems with psyche.
CARL JUNG: Carl Gustav Jung was a psychiatrist and a psychotherapist who reached the heights of glory with his views on the personality development of an individual. He became the President of the International Psychoanalytic Association but only after the animosity between Jung and Freud did Jung achieve fame. Post-split Jung delved into his dreams and imaginations and initiated working on his theory of personality. He wrote down his dreams and analysed them which he later formulated into his idea of personal unconscious.
Jung’s opposing view was that behaviour is driven by a life force and that sexuality was only a small aspect of that life force (Boeree 2006: 4). If, for example, one were to dream about long things Freud would have suggested that the things are representative of the phallus which leads to being representative of sex. In contrast, Jung would have had a completely different interpretation even if the dream would have clearly been about a penis. Even with such a dream, Jung would interpret it as having much to do with an unfulfilled need for
According to Jung how an individual interacts with the world around them influences the type of attitudes and personality traits that they will incorporate, as is the example with extraverted people (those who are dominant in their social settings) and introverts (those who chose to be less dominant in a social setting) (Hopwood, A, 2014). The personal unconscious of Jung’s theory is, in essence, the same as Freud 's idea of the unconscious mind (Mcleod, S, 2014). It arises from the interactions between the collective unconscious and the individual 's development
Freud’s Legacy Essay From when he was super young, till his death, Sigmund Freud was definitely a genius that was ahead of his time. He figured out facts that no one knew or even thought about. There has to be a reason why he is called the “father of modern psychology.” It must not have been since he was a father, so the reason has to have been that he was an astounding psychologist.

In his book Psychology and Alchemy, he gives a detailed account on psychosynthesis or the unification and the differentiation of psych. Jung believed that the mind started out as a whole and would function in the same way. Jung divided the mind into three levels, the Conscious, the Personal unconscious and the Collective unconscious. In this novel through Melanie there is a clear understanding of the power of the unconsciousness.
If Freud had similar thoughts to Nietzsche then in fact if Nietzsche had been more proactive in Psychology instead of Philosophy he would have made the same great strides and advancements in the field of Psychology as Freud did. Another excerpt from Nietzsche from another of his books Twilight of the Idols, Or, How to Philosophize with a Hammer he shows interest in social
Carl G. Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist, and psychoanalyst who founded analytical psychology, comes up with several theories which influenced many fields from psychology to literature and films. Jung focuses on the deep sides of the psyche and he suggests that our unconscious part is also connected to our ancestors and myths in terms of archetypal norms (Jung 261) In Jungian psychology there are various levels of psyche such as persona, anima/animus, shadow, self and many more. Among these levels, shadow plays an important role in the human psyche. Shadow is a concept where less likeable features reside in and it is the opposite of the ego (Caro iv). By being the center of the consciousness, ego is confronted with the shadow in some cases by means
