The theory explains that how situational factors which interrelate with leader behaviour and personality. He trusts that leadership style is a reproduction of personality and the behaviour and also style of leadership fundamentally change. Millennial are group oriented than forecast individual. They may victim their own uniqueness on the team participation. They wish egalitarian leadership. They are starting a tight-knit generation. Though, they are group-oriented in their own unit. They are not preferred to stand out among their peers; they wish to become a part of the team or group. They don’t like selfishness and focus volunteerism and service learning.

Millennials are doing hard work, best grades, participation in additional activities, etc. They consider on the higher achievement level. They perceive that college as the important to a high paying success and job, and may miss the greater picture of what a college education is all about. The study found Gen Y are tech savvy but not great team player, Gen X are entrepreneurial thinking but rank low on executive presence and boomers are team player and loyal but do not adapt so well (Giang, 2013). 78% of the responders agree member of Gen Y are believed to be the most tech savvy who know how to utilize social media to leverage opportunities. 68% of the responders agree that this young workers are most “enthusiastic” about their job. In contrast, Gen Y scored lowest on being team player, hardworking, and productive part of an organization. More Gen Y were interested in how to get a promotion compared to Gen X or Baby Boomers (Giang, 2013).
“The Beat (Up) Generation: Millennials’ Attitudes about Work” is an article written by Abby Ellin and published in Psychology Today. It talks about the generation born between 1982 and 2004, how they react to working around the older generation and why they are hated by the older generation. The millennial generation was born during the rise of technology. They can do a lot of work remotely and not have to work as hard because of all the technology they have access to and the boomer generation doesn’t understand it they equate working hard with time and physical work. The boomers feel that millennials are just lazy and have no respect.
As such, they display comfort working on teams and are active in making friends with other workmates. The group also believes that a team can accomplish more and better results for an organization. Additionally, this group of individuals grew up in a diversely-cultured society, which makes them appreciate workforce diversity. Millennials, or America’s youth born between 1982 and 2000, now number 83.1 million and represent more than 25 percent of the nation’s population, according to the new U.S. Census Bureau. Millennials are tech savvy, diverse and have the most liberal attitudes in regards to social and cultural issues than any other generation. Yet the older generation considers them to be a lazy, narcissistic and an egotistical group of people. This is false, the millennial generation is actually the smartest, most open-minded and self-involved individuals society has ever seen. Joel Stein (Time Magazine), believes “[millennials] are pragmatic idealists, tinkerers more than dreamers, life hackers”, they are filled with confidence and high expectations.
Today’s Dreamer In today’s society, people seem to rely on others more than they rely on themselves. People have seemed to lose sight of the actual important things in their lives such as self reliance. This is important because if a person is unable to rely on themselves then it will be more difficult to rely on others. America today is a country based upon people willing to help others.
1) Introduction Management and leadership practices are helpful and useful to individual's prosperity and that of our organization. Leadership and management theories concentrate on what qualities recognize and distinguish between leaders and followers in an organisation. Leadership can be characterized as a procedure by which an individual impacts others to accomplish a target and coordinates the organization in a way that makes it more coherent and cohesive. On the off chance that you have the longing and willpower, you can turn into an effective leader. Great leaders are creating and developing through a ceaseless procedure of self-study, experience, training and education.
Leadership has been defined in a variety of ways, there are multiple authors and theorists who have tried to define and understand leadership, all leading to varying theories and conclusions, but one thing that is universally understood is the importance of effective leadership and how someone with good leadership skills can impact so many people around them. (Kakabadse and Kakabadse, 1999; Yukl, 2002; Northouse,2013) The main components that have been identified to play a role in leadership are relations between leader and subordinates, interaction form between leader and followers, the influence that the leader has, the way in which the leader behaves and finally a leader’s traits. (Yukl, 2002) These elements that make up a leader, are then used as building blocks to identify the way in which each specific leader deals with its followers.
Implementing training programs where all generations can learn about each other’s differences can help employees understand how and why each generation works. Workshops in which multigenerational workforces can share work experience and mentor each other can assist in creating a sense of community and a supportive environment where employees can be open and share their ideas an collaborate with each other in order to better their organization. Millennials are perceived as being disloyal and quick to search for new employment when they unhappy in their work environments, but due to starting their careers during times of recession, Millennials try to maintain their roles in the workplace to remain financially stable. The main reason for turnover among Millennials is a result of exclusion, slow growth within the workplace, and limited development opportunities. Finding gratification and meaning to their work is important to Millennials so that they can excel and be productive in the workplace that is supportive of their work.

LEADERSHIP Ogbeidi (2012) found that leadership is referred as “ability to lead, direct and organize a group”. The study of leadership has developed scientifically through changing paradigms during its history where several models and theories have tried to explain the concept of leadership. Kuchler (2008) acknowledges that although subject of leadership is diverse and somewhat scattered but it tends to be one of the most widely discussed topics by the researchers all over the world. We found myriad definitions of leadership after studying detailed literature on it. The concept of leadership is described by different researchers with different perspectives.

Leadership: Definition Leadership is the process of influencing the motive of the employees and so directing, guiding them to the proper completion of the short-term goals and the mission, vision of the firm. Leadership referring to achieve a specific set of goals of the business enterprise by minimizing risk and more advantage of opportunities is also called Entrepreneurial Leadership (Rao, 2015). These generation people feel more pressure than their older colleagues as they don’t prefer to spend more time in the workplace. They can juggle many projects at one time as they are skilled multitasking. So, you have to choose these category people to handle multitasking work. They stay focused in the team work so better to choose these people in teamwork.
