Araminta Harriet Ross was born into a very difficult life. She was born somewhere between the years of 1820-1825. In one day Harriet Tubman rescued around 800 slaves, nursed people during the civil war, made several high-risk trips to Maryland to rescue family and friends, and throughout her entire life (especially the end) she took care of the poor. Harriet Tubman was one of the most amazing people during the 1800s, she accomplished so much in only her lifetime.
