I enjoy the thrill of beating my opponent with a strategy they haven 't thought of, as well as recognizing that I 've completely messed up - and lost. As a result, I found myself in chess club. At school, I would play my friends and rivals in chess almost every morning and lunch. In addition, I 'd play online at home. Chess is such a great game to get my mind off of things and have some fun. I plan to play chess for a long time.

Learning outside of school
I really enjoy arguing. Not because I win, but because I learn something. I love staying after school and talking with my teachers at high school may be the only opportunity I have to do so. I would discuss anything; Things I don 't understand, ideas and thoughts I have, and positions I had on certain issues. Almost every time, I 'd walk away just thinking for a long while on the bus right home about whatever I had talked about. Physical science and computer science happened to be that topic most of the time. I feel it was necessary and worthwhile, because most of what you learn isn 't in the school curriculum.

P1 Explain the issues organisations must consider when planning computer systems maintenance The issues that organisations must consider when planning a computer system are as follow; Employee and Employer Responsibilities - It is the Cortex’s’ responsibility to make sure the employee is allowed to have scheduled breaks when they require them. As part of their contract they also have to provide the employee with the correct ergonomic equipment so they can do their job and work efficiently, this means that the employee is more effective and reliable when working from their desk as they have the correct equipment. Employees also have a responsibility this is making sure they use the business network entirely for work related purposes and not for downloading anything that infringes the contractual agreement they have in place this is known as the Acceptable Usage Policy. Cortex is also protected by the Computer Misuse Act.
Instead of withdrawing from the public stage, Angelina and Sarah went on to achieve more notoriety, in 1838, Angelina testified at a Committee of the Legislature of the State of Massachusetts, becoming the first American woman to testify in a legislative meeting. Later in 1838, at the age of 33, Angelina married abolitionist Theodore Dwight Weld, and they moved with Sarah to Fort Lee, New Jersey. Although both Angelina and Sarah wanted to continue giving speeches and attending meetings, the pressures of running a household, raising three children, poverty and health issues (Angelina had suffered a terrible breakdown after her third child), caused them retreat from public issues. They still continue to write and support the antislavery and women’s

Homeroom Reflection Junior year I have grown as a student this semester by watching the mala movie. This has helped me grow as a student because it showed me how just one voice can change so much in a community. From this experience I learned how Mala was an ordinary girl but who ones spoke up for what she believed was right for her community and the people all around her. After she started to change her community on a positive way for example, have more schools so students can have an education and making sure girls were able to attend school more often. Therefore, when she spoke up for what she thought was right and changed people 's life there was some who didn 't appreciate what she was doing so decided to shot her and ended up shooting her on her forehead.
Freedom Summer, or the Mississippi Summer Project, was a volunteer campaign launched in June 1964 to attempt to register as many African-American voters as possible in Mississippi, which had historically excluded most blacks from voting. The project also set up dozens of Freedom Schools throughout Mississippi to aid the local black population. The projects leadership and funding came from the SNCC and COFO, along with hundreds of white college students in the north. In 1963, the SNCC organized a mock vote for blacks, which gave them a chance to prove they were capable of understanding politics. The civil rights activists from both organizations and the white volunteers from the north faced many challenges during the campaign.
The freedom summer, also known as the Mississippi Summer project, was the nonviolent attempt for a voter registration drive organized by a series of civil rights organizations, those including Congress on Racial Equality (CORE), the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). This historical event took place in Mississippi in the summer of 1964. The main focus of this project was, as mention earlier, the voter registration drive, which intended to gather as many colored Mississippians to join the electoral register. But as suspected, may of this registration were denied by the officials, which was a callous act of injustice. As a result, the organizers formed

The activity I enjoy outside of my classes is Lacrosse. I started playing Lacrosse in third grade by joining the Farmington Youth Lacrosse team. Lacrosse is something I care about because it is something I am good at and enjoy playing. I also like being on a lacrosse team because it helps me work together with other people and collaborate on group projects in school. What keeps me playing lacrosse is there is always something you can do better and trying to be the best you can be is fun and challenging.
When outsiders think of Long Beach, California, they think “hood.” They tend to think a city full of gang members and crime. The beauty of Long Beach is often overlooked because music and movie entertainment highlight the negative aspects of the city. For example, Long Beach native Snoop Dogg often raps about his experience with gang violence, drugs, and sex in Long Beach. In the song “Gangsta Love” Snoop Dogg says, “Straight from Long Beach where we gets more naughtier than Comanche.”
Many segregationists had told the school board that they were going to protest at Little Rock Central High School, and not allow the black students to enter the high school. Governor Orval Faubus supported the protestors and ordered the Arkansas National Guard to block off the children. On September 4, 1957, the soldiers stood in front of Little Rock Central High School, and blockaded the entire entrance. This made national headlines, and ultimately shocked the entire nation to its feet. With a furious crowd surrounding the nine students, Elizabeth Eckford said: They moved closer and closer. ...
Honestly, I feel like I 've learned many life lessons that I can use those ideas through the enviroment and society. I 'd rather myself playing my game instead of running the streets looking for trouble. A game is like a job to me; if you
I worked with young children in the resource room with the staff that included teachers, special needs assistants and an occupational therapist, who routinely visits the school. I found the experience immensely rewarding to see the progress the children made in such a short space of time. I was able to see and discuss the different exercises that the occupational therapist used with the children in order for them to make progress. This gave me a great insight into the work environment and daily tasks of an occupational therapist and it made me realise that I had the personality traits and abilities that suited this career
What do you enjoy? I for one enjoy playing chess, particularly an unusual four-player variant known as bughouse. If you by chance know how to play bughouse, then let's try find two other people with whom to play. If not, I'd be happy to teach you how to play. I also enjoy playing the international sport known as football, despite my lack of skill, but I hope to participate in intramural football in college.
