Gilded age 1878-1889 was the age of fast growth of industry and immigrants in America history. The production of steel and iron rose radically than other time. In contrast, the Western resources increased such as silver,lumber, and gold. As well as the transportation also improved. Railroad develop and move goods from resources rich west to east.

Ain’t I got the power?” This is a quote from the business magnate Cornelius Vanderbilt, who was the leader of the railroad industry during the Gilded Age. The Gilded Age was a superficial period in the US History, in which the economy grew at a suprising rate.

During the Gilded Age, the average cost of food and fuel had decreased immensely, this is due to business owners manipulating the product and distribution of goods

The Antebellum period was a time in American history before the Civil War. It was a time of great change in the United States, with the country rapidly expanding in population and territory. The Antebellum period was marked by economic, social, and political developments that ultimately led to the outbreak of the Civil War. One of the most significant developments during the Antebellum period was the rise of industry and the growth of the market economy.

Despite these issues, America was improved in many ways, including the construction of great transcontinental railroads, industrialization, innovations in technology, and big businesses. The telegraph, refrigerator, and new ways of transporting goods were invented during the Gilded Age. New forms of freedom were created for minority workers with the rapid expansion of the industrial system. There was a growing population because of the second industrialization leading to mass production, distribution and marketing. It might have seemed that everything was well, but class division was becoming more visible.

Industrialization skyrocketed during The Gilded Age. People became millionaires, monopolies arose, and many jobs were created as a result. However, because there were no regulations, workers were exploited by monopolists. Political Machines took advantage of immigrants by bribing their votes in exchange for helping them assimilate into American culture, Americanizing them. Americanization is the process to assimilate immigrants into American culture.

Industrialization and Industrialists had many important impacts on America. The era of industrialization known as the " Gilded Age" opened up many new doors for the American people. The industrialist Andrew Carnegie had one of the biggest impacts on America by far. Carnegie was responsible for the production of steel.

A new era in US history changed transportation, resource production, societal norms, and building complexity. In 1865, the Gilded Age began alongside industrialization. With the introduction of industrial manufacturing, alcoholism would not be tolerated due to safety concerns. Alcoholism became a problem as the US population grew, primarily from European immigration. Coincidentally violence, poverty, and crime rates increased promptly.

Between the year of 1865 and the year of 1920, the United States moved towards becoming a more industrialized and developing society. With this change taking place, resulted in improvement with how people live with family and earned money differently. The three major aspects of industrialization during the 1865 and 1920 that influenced the politics, economy and society of the United States are: entrepreneurship, technology, as well as transport and communication network. Entrepreneurship: the period after the Civil War from 1865 to 1920 was characterized by fast economic growth in the country.

In a time after the Civil War, when a transcontinental railroad was created connecting the East and West, people began to move and settle across the country, creating new urban cities and manufacturing hubs. It was because of the railroad that the Second Industrial Revolution and the Gilded Age took place which rapidly increased the manufacturing of products through the new machines in factories and the spread of ideas by the telegraph and railroad. It was in this context that many farmers, as well, began to move West and experience a loss in the prices of their crops. It is also in this context that many workers were forced to work long, laborious hours with little pay. Farmers responded to industrialization in the Gilded Age by forming organizations such as the Granger movement and the Farmers Alliance as well as creating the Populist Party.

During this Era there was quite a few new inventions that came out. A couple were television sets, newer radios, telephones, and (of all things that was produced at this time this item was the biggest) which of are automobiles. Automobiles were new to that mark and they boomed everyone who saw them off ads or television ads wanted one. But, with this large boom America started to be affected by these changes.

The impact industrialist had on the Gilded Age was huge. It pretty much started America and helped the economy big time. The things that impacted the most were travel, business, and workers. Railroads helped improve travel a whole lot. Instead of walking or riding horses everywhere, we built railroads.

The time period from when the Second Industrial Revolution was beginning, up until President McKinley’s assassination in 1901, is known as the Gilded Age. After the Civil War, many people headed out West to pursue agriculture, and many immigrants moved to urban areas to acquire jobs in industrial factories. It is in this context that farmers and industrial workers had to respond to industrialization. Two significant ways farmers and industrial workers responded to industrialization in the Gilded Age, were creating the Populist Party and the American Federation of Labor (AFL).

Before then, America 's population had mostly lived out in the farms and ranches of the country, but that was about to change when more and more people started to move to the cities for work. Most of the people that moved, found themselves in factory jobs for the steel industry or alike, or working for the railroads. Companies could really thrive, as the United States government, adopted a policy of Laissez Faire. This is also about the time that immigration really kicked up, more and more immigrants were showing at Ellis Island, looking for a new start.

The Guilded age was a period of wealth and improvement which was used to cover up poverty and corruption inside the united states. Eventhough there were lots of improvements, not only in technology but also in society, there were lots of problems. Problems such as corruption and poverty. As time went on people started to realise this problems and some got improved, but others didn’t. 　　This gilded age was a problem.
