This paper gave me a chance to go out and get ideas from people in my community. I wasn't to surprised with some of the feed back I got because it's actually what I expected. You can stop it, but you can find safer ways to allow them to ride safely and not on the streets. I believe there are ways to decease the amount of dirt bike and ATV riding that take place on Philadelphia street. Here are some ideas that myself and the community came up with to reduce the illegal dirt bike and ATV riding/ use on our Philadelphia streets. A few common ideas that kept coming up were to have signs that show dirt bike/ ATV riding is illegal. Have fines that need to be paid if you go against the rules. Have people in the community hosted community town meetings. Open parks that are only for riding. I know parks can't be just for riding but maybe allowing certain times for riders to have. Allow most closed parks …show more content…
When the police start a chase, I believe it only makes things worst. They take lights and stop sign that can cause car accidents, someone getting hurt or even worst resulting in a death of someone. There's different methods/ideas that can be used to stop or decease the amount of riding that is happening on are Philadelphia streets. It take determination to try and stop riding on the street when it happens in a lot of states. Putting signs in place would be something that could be useful in stopping dirt bike riding. Most people know it's illegal but ask yourself why care about it if there's no signs saying not to ride in this area or it's illegal to ride on these streets? To me this mean we don't allow it, but really don't take it serious is what I would say. If it was something they wanted to enforce they show make it noticeable to the public. Also make it clear that it's illegal and serious matters would be taking to ashore that it is stop or at least
Between the years 1960 and 1999, Mount Laurel’s population grew approximately 762%, at a rate of nearly 1,000 people per year. Such rapid growth began to negatively affect schools, roads, and municipal services. Fast forward to 1999, the town of Mount Laurel adopts an “Open Space Recreation
This policy effects the social equity of the city by making sure that all residential streets are uniform in speed limit. The policy also effects the parking areas that are regulated by fines with no park
The posted speed limit is 55 miles an hour due to heavy cross traffic on a long stretch of the highway between the Pennsylvania state line and Frederick, Maryland. There are multiple places where the road’s curves make it difficult to see vehicles trying to turn into traffic, or cross over the highway to the other side. On average, during my commute to work, the flow of traffic is traveling 70 miles per hour. As soon as the state line is crossed, however, traffic speed increases to just below 80 miles per hour. If the posted speed limits were lower, this would force drivers to slow down to avoid being pulled over.

Although the problem is all around the country, it is a big problem in Kansas City. The city needs to find a way to slow this issue before it becomes even more out of
Shopping cart theft is a huge problem that not only the city of Redding is experiences, but the surrounding areas as well. They members of the community, and board members, are getting tired of seeing shopping carts that have been taken off of store premises without permission, being left on the side of the road, in ditches, and in random places. Therefore, they are working on passing an ordinances in which the stores are responsible to label their carts, and figure out cart containment. And then when unauthorized individuals are found with carts they then could be brought up on theft charges. Which would lead to the shopping carts being impounded for the stores to pick up.
Rough Draft Cross country is probably the simplest sport anyone will ever play. All they need is a pair of sneakers and a water bottle. The team runs together, but also as individuals. Cross country is great because even though it is hard, it will help make runners stronger and better at other sports they play.
From the days of when the WWII GI’s came home and started building their hot rods and making high horsepower vehicles, and ending in today where people are still building fast cars, all of these people built their cars for competition and raced against the people of their time. Everybody street raced at one point in their lives to see who was faster and the loser would go home, work some more, buy some more parts, and build their car to try to beat them the next go around. Even then cops would chase people and try to stop street racing. The police and everybody in the state should support street racing to be able to control it instead of trying to stop people.
Pedestrians are menaced every minute of the days and nights by a wanton recklessness of
According to the argument, the author claims that the Prunty County should emulate Butler County to improve the conditions of the road to reduce the traffic addident rate. Unfortunately, the author has to further the argument with addithional evidence before she can legitimately come to the conclusion. To begin with, although the number of accidents has not decreased, it doesn 't necessarily mean that to lower the speed limitation from 55 to 45 miles per hour is of no use at all. Clearly, the author assumes that the number of accidents is equal to the degree of highway safety. However, how severe are these accidents are not mentioned.

All things in life can be enjoyable but also unexpected. Everyone has their own natural high. My natural high is riding my dirt bike. Even though riding my dirt bike is fun, it can also be very dangerous. It is very important to always wear safety gear while operating an off-road vehicle.
Speeding can be very dangerous. Speed limits are designed to fit each area. Studies have shown that as speed limits rise, more deaths do as well. School zones are one of the most important. I have small children going to school everyday.
I was finally stepping outside my comfort zone learning to ride a bike. The most memorable time in my life was the time my dad taught me how to ride my first bike. At the age of six he taught me the basics of riding a bike. Along with rules that were set in order to help me be responsible with my bike. I learned to ride a bike without training wheels.
First of all, cars should be banned from big cities for the cause of pollution it makes in the streets. Pollution has become a serious and dangerous problem in big cities
