Todd Beamer was a great person for what he did and he was very selfless. Todd Beamer was born in Flushing Michigan and he went to Wheaton Christian High School. He played baseball, basketball, and soccer. He went to Fresno State University and majored in physical therapy. Beamer transferred Wheaton College and majored in medicine before deciding to do business.

Pension Raise (1912-1913) On May 11, 1912, Charles Lorne is set to receive an increase in the pension payments that he receives. The United States Congress has approved a raise in pension for civil war veterans who served 90 days or more. For Charles to get this raise, he must fill out another application showing proof of his date of birth.

The date is December 11, 1955 in what used to be America, but is now ruled by Nazi Germany. A Jewish named boy Hans who spent the whole war hiding in a shelter in America. Until the Nazi’s won the war now him and lots of other Jewish people live in hiding shelter. He has never seen the world by himself because he was born in a shelter. Hans is 5’3”, long curly brown hair, brown eyes, and is very athletic

Oskar Schindler looks out in the distance. Something is going on in the ghetto; they have found more Jews. The whole place is crazy and frantic. Among all of the black and white chaos emerges a little girl in a bright red coat, sticking out like the elephant in the room. Fighting breaks out all around her as she continues to walk down the street unharmed, an innocent little girl with her whole future and a lifetime of opportunities ahead of her.

The figurative artist I chose to research is John Singer Sargent. He is an American artist with an impressionistic style who utilized unique compositions that captured the emotions and personalities of his sitters. Sargent was born in Florence, Italy in 1856 and was encouraged to pursue an interest in drawing and painting by his mother, who was an artist herself. He trained in Paris under the artist Carolus Duran, who taught him not to rely on drawing the composition before painting, but rather to start the straight away. As he Began his training at École des Beaux-Arts school, he gained the attention of many artists, and since then he created a significant impact in the world of art.

Frederick Grant Banting is a hero. Frederick Grant Banting was a medicine scientist. Frederick was born on November 14, 1891 and he died on February 21, 1941(thecanadianencyclopedia.ca).“Frederick was the first person that used insulin on humans.” Frederick won prizes and gold medals

Adam Steer has been called one of the nicest guys in the fitness niche. Along with his partner Ryan Murdock, he has created a number of popular fitness programs and changed many people's lives. To say Adam has been dedicated to training is an understatement. At a young age, his grandfather got him a gym membership to keep him out of trouble. That's when he became fascinated with conditioning, strength, and fat loss.

The Gordon Setter sporting breed originated in England and Scotland in the 16th century. A Scottish nobleman named Alexander Gordon developed the breed, and it was then named after him. The breed was first imported into the United States in 1842. During that time in America it was legal for professional hunters to sell large quantities of game to the markets, and the Gordon Setter was the preferred dog used to hunt the game. Gordon Setters were officially recognized by the A.K.C in 1884.

Robert Dietz was a scientist who was known for his contributions to the geology of the seafloor and to geological aspects of the theory of plate tectonics. Dietz intended to major in geology but Dietz pursued his interests in astronomy in Illinois. Even though the astronomy department was weak at the time, he took the two available astronomy classes. Dietz evan studied every lunar photograph he could obtain. He was also one of the first professional marine geologists.

1We have all heard of Charles Darwin the man who discovered and create the theory of evolution. He was a very important figure and revolutionize the science world but a name not as thoroughly known is Ernst Haeckel. ernst Haeckel helped both legitimize and add on to Darwin's theory. One of the things he is more famous for is creating evolutionary trees. These evolutionary trees were usually shaped like an actual tree with many branches sprouting off into other species.

Jan Steen was one of the leading masters of genre scenes in the golden age of Dutch, when the Dutch genre flourished to pinnacle as the success of Dutch Revolt resulted in blossom of economy and the birth of capitalism and bourgeois. The shifting power from republicans to capitalists ushered sufficient income in people’s hands to abundant demand for artistic productions. Jan Steen started painterly apprenticeship with Nicoalus Knüpfer and then six years of assisting his father-in-law Jan Van Goyen in Hague, where was the capital of paintings. As such prolific and productive Artist as he was, this work of art was painted in his prime of life. Depicting daily life had been his strong suit, the carousing and bacchanals alike genre scenes were fond by Dutch so much that the dissolute household in Dutch (een huishouden van Jan Steen) was a famous expression referring to the lifestyle of Jan Steen painted in his work of art.

Johann was known for being a poet, a novelist, and a playwright. He provided the Strum and Drang movement with it's first major drama, and in 1774 with it's first novel, The Sorrows of Young Werther. The novel was created to prototype of the Romantic hero. Also in 1775 he arrived at Weimar, where he was appointed to the ducal court and remained for the rest of his life. Johann had a treatise on the nature, function, and psychology of colors.

On September 19, 1911, William Golding was born in Cornwall, England. ("William Golding - Biographical") He was raised by his mother, Mildred, who was involved with the Women’s suffrage movement and his father, Alec who was a school teacher. He began his education at Marlborough Grammar School where his father worked as a teacher. While at Marlborough, he tried unsuccessfully to write a novel and this caused him to hurt others.
