On 12/02/16 I arrived at 6616 Noble Road in reference to a burglary call. Upon arrival I made contact with Gene Carmical. Mr. Carmical said sometime between 1230 hours and 1400 hours, this date, someone entered his residence through a window on the northeast corner of his residence and took several items including guns and gold and silver coins. Mr. Carmical showed me where entry was made into his residence. At this location, I observed where someone had broken the upper sash of a window in a screened-in patio which is connected to the residence at the den. After the window was broken, it appeared that the suspect(s) unlocked and opened the window to allow entry into the residence. Carmical could not provide serial numbers for the missing firearms or descriptions of the jewelry at the time of this report. Mr. Carmical stated he is 81 years old and he may have a hard time remembering what exactly he had. Mr. Carmical did say he would work on a more detailed list of items taken to be given to the Sheriff’s Office at a later date. Inv. Reyer was notified of the incident and he responded to the Carmical residence. Inv. Reyer photographed the scene and took a window screen and jewelry box for further evidence analysis. After looking at the information and evidence laid out before us, we have came to the conclusion that Mrs. Horatio Van Bliven was a fraud. First of all, the glass was shattered from the inside. We think this way because, the glass shards were found on the outside balcony. If the glass was shattered from the outside, the glass would have fallen inside of the hotel room. This eliminates Samuel Schmidt from committing the crime because he could not have broke the glass from the inside.
On 10-03-2015 at 2018 hours I responded to 599 Pine (Casey 's) in reference to counterfeit bills. Upon arriving I made contact with Store Manager Laura Isaac and Officer Woodruff. While Isaac was pulling up surveillance footage she explained that a female had attempted to pay for gas and other items with a counterfeit twenty dollar bill. I seized the note, it has been entered into evidence as #18596. Isaac also explained that the female arrived in a vehicle which she described as a grey short cab dodge truck.
Stark noticed the Officer Safety issue with interviewing the Victim in front of the door, and asked him to move to the side away from the flow of pedestrian traffic. Stark spoke with the Officer that had responded prior to our arrival and got the information that the Officer had already obtained. Stark re-interviewed the Victim, and come to the conclusion that the crime elements of PC211 were not met. I asked Stark what he believed the crime was, he stated PC 484 - petty theft. Stark gave the Victim a business card with the report number.
On October 3, 1974, at around 10:45 pm, Elton Hymon and Leslie Wright of the Memphis Police Department were responding to a “prowler on the inside” call. They made the scene and observed a woman in the house next to the intended home of the call. She was standing on her front porch pointing at the house. She advised that she had heard glass breaking and someone was breaking into the house next door. As Wright showed both officers on the scene on his radio to dispatch, Hymon went to the rear of the house.
INTRODUCTION: This case involves victim Jorge Arias being approached and assaulted by 4 unknown male suspects. They suspects punched and kicked Arias several times making contact with his face and upper body. During the commission of the crime, one of the suspects forcibly removed Arias keys from his hands. The 4 suspects entered Arias’ white 2001, Ford F150 P/U, license 66213D1, and fled the scene traveling south on Lake Ave.
On 10/25/15 I arrived at 6011 Jacksonville-Conway Road in reference to a possible shooting call. Upon arrival I made contact with Margaret Davis, who advised that on this date her ex-husband, Jerry Davis, shot himself at his residence. I observed Mr. Davis in a medical bed in the living room of his residence with a small caliber handgun in his right hand and laying on his chest. I also observed a spent .22 Long Rifle cartridge laying on Mr. Davis' shirt next to his right hand. Mr. Davis did not have any immediately observable wounds

Supplemental Narrative: On 09/24/15 at approximately 1350 hours, I, Officer Artaz along with Officer Reece responded to 311 Dodge Street apartment 7 to assist Deputy Sparks and Deputy Buffington with executing a felony warrant. The wanted person was identified as Gerald McNeil (DOB 03/26/82). Upon arrival, Officer Reece and I escorted Deputy Sparks to Gerald's apartment. Deputy Sparks knocked on the door and a short time later Gerald answered the door. Deputy Sparks asked Gerald to step out into the hallway, so they could talk.
