George Orwell Animal Farm Neglect

In both American politics and Animal Farm, the fortunate and privileged are the ones who run the show. Prior to the Animal Farm rebellion, “The work of teaching and organising the others fell naturally upon the pigs, who were generally recognised as being the cleverest of the animals.” (Orwell, 15). Pigs were regarded as the most special of the farm’s inhabitants, similar to how the wealthy are viewed as being the “chosen ones” in the United States. Throughout the novel, as the pigs gain more control, and they use their influence and the other animal’s admiration as their tool to control what laws are being made.

Throughout the years there have been many tyrannical rulers. Although these leaders have very abusive regimes many of them stay in power because of use of manipulative methods. In George Orwells Animal Farm these methods are demonstrated in an allegory of the Russian Revolution. In this novella a farm of animals work together to revolt against their owner Mr Jones in order to escape his tyrannical rule. However, in doing so a pig by the name of Napoleon gains power and treats the animals just as Mr Jones did before the revolution.

I read a book called, “Animal Farm” written by George Orwell. The book is about animals on a farm who are overworked and aren 't treated well. Then, an insurgency made up of animals with pigs as their leaders, rebel against Mr.Jones (owner of the farm) by driving him off his farm. The animals try to make the perfect life for themselves, but that doesn’t go as planned. The animal farm then starts to fail.

A necessity to ensure an ideal and functional community, as demonstrated in George Orwell 's 1945 novel Animal Farm, is the ability to detect and prevent corrupt conduct, read, and the will to challenge authority, which the animals do not possess, therefore putting them at major fault. One of the main factors that leads to the downfall of the farm and Animalism itself is the blatant stupidity that the animals, excluding the pigs, possess. They are overly dense to the point where the concept of corruption is near unfathomable, and thus cannot detect it or act upon their suspicions. Their willingness to believe Squealer 's persuasive speeches whenever doubt arises indicate that the animals are unable to think for themselves. “The other animals understood how to vote, but could never think of any resolutions of their own” (Orwell 19).

In the novel written by George Orwell, the presence of narcissism amongst the pigs results in unjust control of the animals, as well as deprivation of their freedom and the ability to interact with the natural world. The use of propaganda within Animal Farm shows a great example of how media controls citizens in a dystopia. In order for the pigs to maintain total control of the farm’s society, they manipulate the other animals. The author presents, “he announced that, by a special decree of Comrade Napoleon, Beasts of England had been abolished” (Orwell 88).

When the pigs introduce punishment and a death sentence for committing crimes against Animal Farm, many animals are ‘slain on the spot’, moreover, this is the first time since Jones’ displacement when there is blood spilt on the farm. Napoleon creates his own personal guards, who also punish the lower animals who betray Animal Farm. These ‘dogs wearing brass studded collars’ are a force none of the working-class animals wish to cross, for when they do, harsh repercussions follow. The animals that had confessed to their heinous crimes were executed by the dogs who ‘tore their throats out’. By doing so, the animals experience physical fear for the first time since Animal Farm was formed.

To begin, in the stories of “Animal Farm” the book concludes on how the animals of Manor Farm turn into the owner of them by dictating each other, stealing ideas from one another, changing rules, overworking each other, and being just overall a communist farm. The author’s perspective and tone regarding intelligence explains how the pigs and Napoleon used their intelligence to trick and persuade the animals to their way of living. In the book “Animal Farm”, “The pigs did not actually work, but directed and supervised the others. With their superior knowledge it was natural that they should assume the leadership” (Orwell 12). The pigs dictate the animals and use them as slaves because they were not intelligent.

Animal Farm, an allegory written by George Orwell, compares to the Russian revolution. In the story, animals rebel against humans and take control of the farm they live on. They adopt the idea of “Animalism”, comparable to Communism. This idea is based on the principle that all animals are equal; that is, until their leader, Napoleon, takes total control of the animals and farm. He uses the other pigs to convince the rest of the “comrades” to follow his ways.

“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others” (Orwell 146). This quote in the book Animal Farm written by George Orwell shows that Animal Farm can be represented as a dystopian society. A utopia represents a perfect society where everything will be perfect while a dystopia lives under fear and confusion. Animal Farm shows a dystopian society because under the ruling of Napoleon the animals lived in fear as well as animals included confusion of the actions of the pigs. Napoleon and the other pigs always watched the other animals on the farm to make sure that no one will be going against Napoleon 's “great ruling”.

Lord Acton, the British historian, once said, “All power tends to corrupt, absolute power corrupts absolutely.” In the novel Animal Farm by George Orwell, the character Napoleon puts himself in charge. But, not only that he allows another pig, Squealer, to do his dirty work. And also uses dogs to chase his enemy, Snowball, away . In which leads to other animals not knowing that the farm is being ran the same way as when under Mr. Jones, the old farmer 's, control.

This relates to the theme because, throughout the story, the pigs have been in charge because they have more knowledge than the other animals. They were also really clever and could think of a way around every difficulty the farm experienced. ( Orwell 13) In the middle of the story, some crucial rules were being changed and the animals did not do anything about it. “ … pigs not only took their meals in the kitchen and used the drawing-room as a recreation room, but also slept in the beds.”

All people can name one point in history where the fight for equality and freedom did not turn out in favor of the struggling people. In Animal Farm written by George Orwell, the farm animals portrayed are much like those who confront unjust powers. However, the animals on this farm are unaware of new, devious powers, namely Napoleon the pig. He strives for control after having driven out the humans who had held them as slaves long before. The one desire he indulges in is dominance over his peers and uses all means possible to obtain this goal.

The day Old Major died, the pigs already started to plan the revolution, and how they would control the other animals. The pigs naturally take over the farm, and gain support from the animals by telling them

However, Orwell depicted, “The animals would still assemble on Sunday mornings to salute to the flag, sing Beasts of England, and receive their orders for the week; but there would be no more debates” (Orwell 54). In the past, the animals had the ability to speak out at the farm Meetings, even if they chose not to. However, now that Napoleon took this right away from them, he got to be in charge of all the decisions for the farm and no one could contradict him. As Animal Farm developed, the pigs slowly disregarded animals’ rights and opinions, and the farm subtly gained more dystopian

George Orwell‘s animal Farm novel he argues that political revolutions are doomed to fail because leaders that have power that goes to their head in other words dictator in the novel animal farm The rebellion results in a dictatorship because the pigs have the power to get to the animals house because they’re smarter therefore they take advantage of the lesser which is the other animals I feel as if it’s citizens must be always equal no one be dictator they should always be equal teach the lesser so they can all be on the same level. I say this because in a chapter like chapter 3 page 35 to 36 it talks about the milk and the Apple and it states it is for you you’re say that we drink that milk and eat those apples this relates to the animal
