Teaching is a big part of me as I have taught many of my friends and other students. I have used my talent as an artist to give life to the words and diagram in the textbook. I have used my art to help people visualize abstract thinking and understand different concepts, especially when it comes to chemistry, biology, and physics. Through the art, I have tried to make a learning more of a fun and challenging by using the ideas of everyday objects. Because art has a more flexibility when it comes to how it is presented, I have tried to include my art and animation in different presentations. Nowadays I am even trying to write and illustrate the graphic novel to convey my personal ideas through a story by letting the readers experience the adventures of the characters, witnessing the conflict, and understanding the sacrifice of different characters. This is one of the ways I am trying to challenge myself to make a long-lasting impact on my audience which would add in the educational experience of

The $15,000 will be used for research, prototyping and experimentation/implementation. I will use the money to buy materials and equipment (not already at west point) that may be needed to create and test prototypes here at West Point. In terms of implementation, I would use the money to develop different models and travel to either Africa or India to test my final prototype. I would go to rural villages during the summer to observe and quantify the air conditioning unit’s usability, durability and effectiveness in action. This will allow me to continue to make changes until the air conditioning unit is perfect.

First of all, when students are looking for their classes on their own it becomes tough to find an adequate class or instructor/teacher for them. Every teacher has his/her own way to teach and that’s what makes the difference or interest of students to learn in an appropriate way. One topic I want to bring on is about the textbook (Everything is an Argument) as a student it comes to a point where you hope to do a great use of what we put in when we get enrolled in college. For example, some teachers required students to buy an expensive book from the bookstore just because it goes with the class.
The Art in Education In first grade we had to draw a picture of what we would be doing 20 years from then. We had to draw what job we would have, what our hair would look like, what we would be wearing, and I chose to draw a picture of me drawing a picture. As a first grader I knew that my future would mirror what I was doing in that exact moment; I would still have curly hair, and I would still be an artist. Loudly proclaiming that I was going to be an artist when I grew up was ok in elementary school, but at the end of middle school it was often challenged with “but what are you really going to be?”
Many of the novels discuss narrative and memory in an artistic form. These stories are told through ongoing character experiences in an ongoing plot. Overtime, sentimental events unfold. However, true narrative art enables the reader to grasp a better sense of the characters generational struggle while capturing the moments in the novel's time frame. From a first person artistic perspective, the reader is provided characters who serve as witnesses not only to their own life stories, but, to the larger history of the era.

I know people have judge who I am and what I do because of my culture and who I am. I used to care, but I realized that I can’t make everyone happy. A way to fix this problem is by being friendly with others and talking with others, especially those outside your circle of friends. One of the best ways to learn about other cultures is to simply talk to those who are from different backgrounds or countries. Not only will that expand the cultural mindset, but it will allow people to be more engaging and more educated on other
DuPraw’s and Marya Axner’s article “Working on CommonCross-cultural Communication, they pointed out that “[a]n appreciation of patterns of cultural difference can assist us in processing what it means to be different in ways that are respectful of others…”. We usually see different cultures as abnormal or “wrong” because it is not what we’re used to. This quote from the article is telling us that we need to become empathetic to successfully understand others from different backgrounds. When you stop to listen and put yourselves in others’ shoes, you are respecting and understanding their ideas. To fully succeed in cross cultural communications, you need to learn, accept and appreciate the differences each culture has and be considerate of people with diverse developmental
It is a problem I have been working to fix. I feel most successful in my art, mostly outside the classroom where I can improve on the tidbits I prefer. Artwork is something personal I do better when working
First, my main advantage is that I am ready to learn and engage people from other cultures (Wagner, 2012). Although different communities have different practices, it is essential to state that I am always curious and willing to learn about other people’s traditions so that I can fit into their organizations (Keung, 2013). Nonetheless, I also face various challenges on matters regarding cultural intelligence, and the main problem is that I have defined stereotypes regarding multiple communities. I find it hard working or interacting with persons from some communities since I have already developed different negative perception regarding these communities. Nevertheless, I am still interested in dealing with this weakness so that I gain increase my
