Florence .E .Butt. opens the “C.C.Butt Grocery Store” which was located in Kerrville and in 1905 and she invested sixty dollars so the business could start and when the business started to work the first grocery store was only 750 square feet,they made deliveries to houses and sold bulk food,they delivered goods in wagons.During 1919 when florence youngest son took over the business when he came back from World War l,then Howard E.Butt tried,but failed to open a second store six times.Within the 1920 Florence, youngest son Howard .E .Butt gets to be in business and opens a new store in Del Rio in Laredo,and in the first month Florance made fifty dollars and sixty cents of the sales of the month which is almost the amount of money she invested to start the business. The “Mama might be better of dead” is a book that has an ethnographic story of the life of four generations of African American families who live in one of the poorest communities in Chicago. It takes place in the 1990’s in the North Lawndale and it is located in the Westside Abraham (2013). The story discusses in detail how the health care system does not work for most low income families. The story states that the Banks family is going through many challenging and traumatic situations where they do not have all the necessary health care due to low income. This story deliberates that Jackie Banes is head of household and she takes care of her grandmother, Cora Jackson who suffers from a diabetes, high blood pressure and had her leg amputated due to not getting treatment right away.
Facts William E. Story, Sr. (uncle) promised to pay his nephew, William E. Story II $5,000 if he refrained from drinking, smoking, swearing, and playing cards or billiards for money until he reached 21 years old. Although, it was legal to drinking and play cards for money during the late 1860 's; the nephew agreed and completed his part of the bargain. The nephew also wrote a letter to his uncle about the agreement. The uncle replied and told him the money would include interest under the terms and conditions of the letter. Twelve years later, the uncle died without paying his nephew any of the $5,000 with interest.
The year was 2010. George had just recently moved to Russfords because of a job opportunity, but he had also always been interested in leaving the city life. Russfords was a small town, but to many people it was all they had ever known. Holman and A. D. Anderson opened a meatpacking company that would reduce costs called the Iowa Beef Packers. The IBP was much different than normal meatpacking companies. They were a one-story workplace that had a disassembly line where workers stood in the same spot during their whole shift.
