In Whitechapel in 1888 to 1891 Jack the Ripper committed more than eleven murders but no one had a clue who he really was. The murders were very gruesome and were thought to be done by someone with medical training. It also had to be done by someone that had access to the streets late at night. It can be said that H.H. Holmes might have been Jack The Ripper because he had a medical background, he was visiting Whitechapel when the murders happened and the killings stopped when he left, he then continued killings at home in America. The murders were usually prostitutes and were very late at night and doctors were usually able to leave the house at night. That is why it can be said that H.H. Holmes may have been Jack The Ripper. The police never really had any leads on finding the real Jack The Ripper and suspected more than 100 people to be Jack The Ripper but never truly found out who he was. Holmes is one of the leading suspects for the killings in Whitechapel because he also is suspected of killing more people in the united states. Great Grandson of H.H. Holmes, Jeff Mudgett thinks that H.H. Holmes was Jack The Ripper and has been working with ex-CIA analyst Amaryllis Fox to figure out if they can be linked together. He has been linked to murders in many places one of them being his “murder castle” which was his own home in Chicago he was said to have killed and tortured many people here. He was also linked to murders in Canada, so with that being said it's not far fetched to say that he may be Jack The Ripper. Killing wasn't his only crimes either, he has a pretty hefty criminal background that involves fraud. Seeing as he was a doctor he had access to dead bodies which he would take and make insurances claims off them to make money. He was also thought to have caused the death of a childhood friend when they were young and would often experiment on animals. But with that being said he was also known to be a very bright
