Trade partners is an agreement made by two or more parties that agrees to trade certain items or info to each other. Since the U.S had many trade partners, there was a stable system. Many nations would ship their items to others as that’s the only way to send their items. (as shown in Map 1) Now skipping some years, the Barbary Pirates then starts attacking cargo ships and would steal millions of dollars worth of items. The Barbary Pirates mostly come from North Africa and they mainly seek money and targets non-believers on Jihad and Christians. Many countries would either bribe them or go against the pirates to keep them away. Depending on the amount of money they offered, they’ll either leave them alone or continue stealing ships. In
