Camus said, 'Where there is no hope, one must invent hope. ' It is only pessimistic if you stop with the first half of the sentence and just say, There is no hope. Like Camus, even when it seems hopeless, I invent reasons to hope,” People often say that Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness, but what if there was no light? Elie Wiesel was almost 13 when he and his family and the rest of his town's Jewish population, were sent to the two confinement ghettos set up in sight. Elie Wiesel wrote this book to tell us his story and his experience in the Holocaust. In Night by Elie Wiesel, he was religious but then his faith died as more and more dreadful events happened. To start off, Elie Wiesel was very religious until he got into the Holocaust. Elie Wiesel was religious and believed in hope and faith. When he was a child he studied religion. He also believed that god was everywhere in the world and, that nothing exists without God. Elie Wiesel was religious and believed in faith and hope. Elie Wiesel was always praying and studying in his spare time. He never wasted his time and always believed that god is always with him and giving him faith.
