Beowulf a poem that is considered by most as one of the most important works of English literature, but this poem is far from just an important poem its an example of the capability of the human creativity. At first glance the poem can seem as a classic story of a hero that defeats evil and is respected all throughout the land, but after carefully analyzing this story you come to a realization that its not that simple . Beowulf is a hero due to the definition of hero, a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities, but just because he is a hero it does not make him the "good guy". Beowulf symbolizes the human flaw for what makes him great is what leads to his own demise, he has faith in his morals
