Humanistic does not allow carer workers to label or pratronise the client, although humanistic enables to follow the principles of care in order to maintain dignity, respect, promoting choice and independence, respecting privacy and rights. In order to deal with those two situations, I should apply listening skills with mean calm down the situation by asking the service users and the visitors to go to a quite place in order to know about what happen and promise them that it will never happen again. After deal with them, I also allow the receptionist to express herself then I will tell her that i was not happy about her inappropriate behaviour which was lack of person centered approach and bad practice. 1. First of all my suggestion would be verbal communication techniques and non verbal communication; verbal communication could be one to one communication this form of communication involved 2 or more people or group communication. These techniques could improve each situation by minimising bad practice occurs. for example if the receptionist spoke to the elderly visitor calmly using appropriate tone of voice and allowing appropriate space this would allow her to understand needs and difficulty that the old lady

This will help professionals to be able to support the client in the best possible way that will benefit them overall when receiving their care
As there are many care associated that work together during the day, the manager was always around to help support them. It has been made clear that strong relationships are made with those who are working together and the residents. This is very important when it comes to this type of environment because a lot of people in the elderly population have a lot of grief with not being able to be fully independent. Firstly, providing services for a client often involves more than one service professional that may or may not be within the same agency. Communication between those professionals is key to the quality of care that client will receive. Secondly, many agencies also include more than one service program, and inter-agency communication between service providers, program directors, and executive management is vital to sustainability. Lastly, there is also the fact that many services are fund either by a government assistance program, or through insurance, and those agencies require good communication. Due to the diversity of audience, writing in this field is made very clear and often straight to the point.
Having the trust of the clients helps a lot when trying to figure out how you can help them when they are explaining their situation, they open up to you. It is a legal requirement that all health care workers must put the interest of their service users first and make sure that the service users do not come to any harm be it abuse or self-harm. An event that was significant to me throughout clinical placement was when I forgot to introduce myself to a visually impaired client. The event that I encountered occurred on my second day of clinical placement at Fieldstone Commons. This event highlights the need for effective communication when treating a patient that suffers with visual impairment. I assisted in morning care for multiple clients, one client stood out to me in particular.
