Lucille Ball is an admirable woman for contributing to the world numerous times. Born on August 6, 1911, in Jamestown, New York. Lucille Ball got her start as a singer, model and film star before becoming one of America's top comedic actresses. With the 1950s TV show I Love Lucy, she became a hit. When she was 15 she convinced her mother to allow her to enroll in a New York City drama school. Despite how long it took she still never gave up and still kept working hard. She was also in 72 movies (aka that's a lot of movies). Enough with background information let's talk about what made her admirable. Lucille ball showed other women that Hollywood wasn't just for men and that they could be successful too. First of all she showed people that men aren't the only stars around. Lucille ball was the first girl Co star on a TV show that show was I love Lucy the show was even named after her. Secondly, she also showed girls can out act men.
