William Heirens was born on November 15, 1928 at Evanston, Illinois. He grew up in Lincolnwood in chicago. When he was 11 years old he saw a couple making love and told his mother his mother told him all “sex was dirty, and would lead to diseases”. Afterwards while kissing his girlfriend he started crying and vomited. At age 13 he was found with a loaded gun and was arrested they searched heirens home and found more weapons hidden. He admitted to burglaries and was sent to the Gibault school for wayward boys. After he was released he was again convicted of burglary multiple times and was released from St. Bede’s Academy when he was 16 due to good testing scores and was enrolled at the university of chicago. He still continued burglary as he studied electrical engineering. He didn't have any mental illnesses but he was emotionally unstable and insensitive and had a deep sexual deviance. On August 19, 1962 another brutal slaying had took place at 7 Grove Garden in the West End of Boston. 75 year old widow Ida Irga was found in the pattern of strangling, she has been left on the floor, laying on her back wearing a brown nightdress which had been ripped and her body exposed. Her legs were open and resting on two chairs, with a cushion placed on her buttocks. Jeffrey Dahmer, a famous serial killer who killed over seventeen people, died in prison while waiting out fifteen consecutive life sentences. Dahmer, one of America’s most notorious serial killers, had a difficult childhood that spiraled out of control and began an unhealthy obsession with killing animals as a young child that led to him becoming a murderous necrophiliac. Dahmer, who was born on May 21, 1960 had a relatively normal life until he was four. “He was described as an energetic and happy child until the age of four, when surgery to correct a double hernia seemed to effect a change in the boy” (Biography.com Editors). After the surgery he had little emotion and was an unhappy child most of the time.

Fish’s family had an extensive history of mental illnesses, making him possibly prone to different disorders. Several of his family members were diagnosed with different mental disorders. His uncle suffered from religious mania, his brother was placed in a state mental hospital, and his sister was diagnosed with a mental affliction.
Black Dahlia Murder In 1947 the tragic loss of Elizabeth Short shocked many people all over the world. This wasn’t your typical murder, this murder had to have been planned out and thought about for a while before its happening. The “Black Dahlia Murder” is the biggest unsolved case in Los Angeles and is still an undergoing investigation. I have reason to believe that Dr. Gorge Hodel is the murderer behind the brutality of Elizabeth Short’s body.

When he was young, he was bullied because of his “concern for all living things”. He also was considered to be rather timid and an easy target for bullies. On May of 2014 a bicyclist found a badly wounded twelve-year old girl was trying to crawl out of a forest. The victim was 12-year-old Payton Leutner who had been stabbed multiple times. The girl was stabbed in her torso, arms and legs a total of 19 times. The victim was rushed to the hospital and what police learned later would be a case that shocked the whole country. Tragic hero is one of the elements of the most important elements of the tragedy. Tragic hero is usually the main character in the story which his/her wrong choices that are due to their personality cause their downfall. The heroes downfall is one of the saddest moments in the story. When I was thinking of a tragic hero that I know, name of a few characters from movies and a few from real life came to my mind. One of the most famous tragic hero that I know is Steve Jobs.
