Psychology is involved in our everyday lives. The definition of psychology is the study of behavior and mental processes. An example of psychology is talking to new people around you. You talk to each person differently than you do with your family and your close friends. Also, you can learn how to deal with different new situations that we can face. New situation helps us change how we think about things and how to handle things in our everyday live. New experiences can also help us grow mentally too. The new thing that I tried was going to a Mormon Church service. I think religion is a fascinating subject to learn about. I find it fascinating to hear what other people think of Jesus Christ. Each religion has its own community which is different from each church/temple. Also, I get to meet new people and experiences. I also learn a new outlook in life. Plus I learn how other people view on life. I am catholic so I thought this would be interesting since I have never been to a Mormon Church service. Mormon believes the there are four sources of the sacred word. One source is the bible. The second source is called the book of Mormon. The book of Mormon is a collection of writing/recordings from their ancient prophets. The third source is called the Doctrine and Covenants. This is a collection of modern revelations of Jesus Christ. The last source is called the Pearl of the Great Price. This is the book that contains the stories they believe was lost throughout time. When I went to the Mormon Church I observed new thing I have never seen during church. An example is that there was no kneeling benches.
