Imperialism has affected the world in various ways.Imperialism has many benefits that we still use today. The world wouldn't be as advanced today if it weren't for spread of technology, healthcare, and language. One example is that health care got deadly diseases under control. With language spread, more cultures were influenced. More efficient machines, other inventions, etc have been made because the growth of technology.

Overall health care has helped the world from tons disease outbreaks that may have killed many countries. Many people do not realize how fortunate they are to have the medical advances and medical technology we easily have the right to use. People from many years ago did not have specialized doctors and medicine to cure their diseases that we easily have access to today. (Ramsey) Many civilizations used what they thought to be alleviating processes, but medical experts today know now were pointless and dangerous. Among these people were the Elizabethans.
Imperialism in third world countries was a very good thing that impacted the world in a very positive way. With new ideas about medicine it not only “saved thousands of lives” but it “encouraged “doctors to begin new research” (“1920’s medicine”). “Antibacterial drugs and Sulfa drugs were released” this helped people live longer and it helped people to become more resistant to sickness and diseases without this there could have been another pandemic which could have kill thousands of people (“1920’s medicine”).
The effects of imperialism was quite chaotic in the beginning causing an up rise from Africa and the Middle East. At first both resisted but over time western ways was making it’s way into a part of the daily routine. The imperialism started with Africa and eventually moved into the Middle East, but when it started in Africa it was for the natural resources the country possessed at the time. The Middle East was different due to the ruler at the time, Muhammad Ali was the ruler of Egypt and wanted to modernize Egypt the way he wanted to. He is sometimes known as “Father of Modern Egypt” although when he died they was not a leader that was as strong as he was to hold up his empire.
