Speech Outline
I. Introduction
A. Attention Grabber and Introduction Paragraph: The Earth is warming and places are burning. Water is rising, and cities are flooding. The air isn’t safe to breathe in certain areas. Global warming is responsible for all this.
B. Thesis: The causes of global warming and climate change are because of increased emissions of greenhouse gases, and the effects of this are rising temperatures and more severe natural disasters.
II. Body
A. Counter Claim: Most scientist and people believe that humans are the cause of global warming because of the emissions that they put into the air, but there is a small percentage of people who think that global warming is not caused by emissions at all.

2. Brief analysis/warrant (How/Why this is important?)This shows how if we continue to pollute our atmosphere by emitting greenhouse gases such as carbon into our atmosphere, it will cause more natural disasters which will be more severe due to the rising temperatures which will allow for more severe storms, which is all a result from emissions.
II. Conclusion
A. Restate Thesis to remind the audience of your position: It can be said from the previous examples that global warming and climate change are both caused by human emission of greenhouse gases which result in consequences such as warmer temperatures and severe natural disasters.
B. Memorable statement of possible solution or plan of action: A way that we can stop climate change and global warming is to stop emitting greenhouse gases into our atmosphere. We can do this by “going green” and being more environmentally friendly by changing our personal habits such as using our cars less often and using other methods of transportation instead. It also starts by getting out voices heard and getting a cap on the number of emissions we can release so that we can protect our atmosphere. Such a shift in norms and introducing regulations would surely accelerate the transition to a carbon-free
Global Warming from Three Perspectives Richard Lidzen’s article Global Warming: The science in Three Nutshells explores the idea of global warming from three different perspectives, the scientists, the skeptics and the media. The opinions seem to be similar but their differences are what the article is focusing on. There is a lot of information out there and Lidzen is set to clear that up. The scientist in Lidzen’s article are part of the United Nation and the University of East Anglia.
Annotated Bibliography: How Climate Change Is Affecting Our Planet Controversy statement: Climate change is been debated for over centuries now. People all around the world are taking action and reducing burning fossils to minimize the gasses in the atmosphere. Many people believe that climate change doesn't exists. But there are a lot of controversial topics that proves that climate change is real. In my opinion, climate change is slowly killing us and destroying our planet.
Do you often hear things like "we are killing our planet" or "global warming is a massive problem" from your local hippies? I 'm sure you must accept the common misconception that humans have made a huge impact on climate change, well I beg to differ: humans are actually not the main reason to climate change. In this essay I will explain as to why climate change isn 't caused by humans and why you should change your perspective on the topic. By analyzing that Global warming is natural, sea levels have been steadily rising for thousands of years, and CO2 has little impact on global warming, it becomes obvious that climate change was not cause by humans.
This documentary focuses on the main contributors of global climate change in three parts. In part one, the documentary deals with coal and electricity. It shows how mountain-top removal is ruining the mountains in West Virginia and how it affects the health of residents in the area. In this section, the documentary also addresses the issues of coal mining in China, including large emissions of greenhouse gases and smog. In part two, the documentary concentrates on oil and cars.
Global warming has impacted humans in many ways and created controversial debates in social, political
Climate change has been a controversial problem for a long time. Many people agree that although rising temperatures will have serious consequences if left unchecked, we can avoid disaster if we adopt clean and renewable energy sources. Eduardo Porter, on the other hand, paints a different picture, believing instead that the effects of climate change are inevitable. He uses several techniques to argue his point, mainly word choice, authoritative sources, and statistics. Porter begins his essay with three short, straightforward sentences proclaiming that climate change is “bearing down upon you now” and that there is “nothing you-or anyone else can do to prevent the hit.”
Climate change speech If 97% of dentists said you had to have a tooth removed, wouldn’t you remove it? If 97% of engineers said a plain wasn’t safe to fly, would you board? If 97% of doctors said your loved one needed a surgery, would you overlook their advice? Then why when 97% of scientists claim that climate change is real, it's caused by mankind and it's happening as we speak, why do you treat it differently?
Statement of Problem I. What are the causes of global warming? II. How is it affecting our environment? III. How can we minimize the activities responsible for global warming?
We, as a species have a hard time admitting when we are wrong. How do you live with something that has no cure? Sure, they have medication and counseling that can help subdue the problem for a short time being, but, it’s always there, haunting the corners of your mind. Attention Deficit Disorder, or ADD is a somewhat commonly known. People sort of know what it is, but that doesn’t mean that they completely understand what it is.
2. Businesses, governments, and individuals can limit greenhouse gases by adopting different methods. Recycling household waste can save 2,400 pounds of carbon dioxide every year. Using less heat and air conditioning by a mere 2 degrees can save up to a substantial 2,000 pounds of carbon dioxide. Driving less leads to fewer fossil fuel emissions and every gallon of gasoline not burned saves 20 pounds of carbon dioxide.
Just like every other first-year college student around the world, I make my own decisions regarding my ecological footprint. Although the opinions of parents will still play a large role in my decisions, I am forming my own opinions, too. Every single person is capable of being a part of our “story,” (Kingsnorth and Hine 7) and when knowledge is spread, there is less of a dispute about the existence and “urgency” (Pongiglione 179) of climate change. Moving forward, though, it is the responsibility of “writers, artists, poets and storytellers of all kind” (Kingsnorth and Hine 8) to make the “31%” of the US population who believe that climate change “will not at all...affect their personal dimension” (Pongiglione 180) understand that one day it will. Proactivity should be encouraged, and the possibility of turning things around should be highlighted so that we can remain prideful in our “belief in” our society and civilization as well as the “belief in its future”
Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, fellow Americans, and people of the world: thank you. We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our people. Together, we will determine the course of America and the world for years to come.
While global climate change may not be the most flamboyant event occurring in the world, that should not detract from the severity of the situation. Climate change coupled with unchecked human activity can have dire consequences
Topic : Human activities have been a major cause of climate change . To what extent do you agree or disagree ? In modern life , human beings have been undergoing climate change , which is defined as a change in the pattern of weather and related changes in oceans , land , surfaces and ice sheet by Australia Academy of science . There is undeniable fact that the modern world has to encouter challenges concering climate change such as the higher average temperature , more droughts, wilder weather and shrinking ice sea . it is firmly believed that natural causes involving vocalnic eruption , ocean current , solar variation and the earth 's orbital change are primarily responsible for substantial climate change .
Global warming To blame people or not to blame people for global warming, that’s the question. Global warming is an raise in temperature over the whole world. Report has said, eleven out of the last twelve years have ranked amongst the hottest on record. CNN has said that temperature changes have been see over the last fifty years, as result to human actions. Scientists have forecasted that the temperature will raise 1.8 to four degrees Celsius.
