I. Do you know, keeping a diary is more than keeping documents and papers. According to every day health that journaling is an effective stress relief exercise, and people who write in a diary or other notebook reap both physical and emotional benefits, potentially increasing their longevity.
II. When we talk about diary or journal the only person that comes to my mind is Anna Frank. How many of you guys know the story of Anna Frank?
III. Today I am going to talk about Anna Frank her story and the diary she has been writing for long time.

Anna frank got a gift for her 13th birthday, it was a diary. She was really excited and happy about it. She used like writing stories and poems.
Anna starts writing straightaway after she got her diary.
II. On July 5 1942 Margot frank which is Anna’s older sister got a call-up to report for a German work camp. The family decided to not send their daughter to the work camp and they choose to hid in the secret annex the whole family.

Anne Frank was a young Jewish girl living in Amsterdam during the occupation by the Nazis. She was forced to go into hiding above her father's work for two years to avoid prison. During her time in hiding, she kept a diary and wrote about her experience. Frank writes about her loving and compassionate family and also mentions how she has built new relationships with the other families in the house. In her diaries, Frank frequently emphasizes the value of family, emphasizing how her trials were made easier by the presence of those she loved who understood what she was going through.
Anne Frank and her family had to go into hiding during the Holocaust when Hitler was in power. Her family and the others had to stay in one place and stay quiet the whole time while in hiding. Anne’s dad bought her a diary on her thirteenth birthday and while in hiding she wrote about all the events that happened during her family’s hiding. Later on in life, when everyone but her dad passed away, Otto Frank, her dad, published her diary and made her dreams of being a writer. There were many people that had to go into hiding during the holocaust and while they were in hiding they had to keep themselves occupied.
After Anne was sent to the camp and killed by Otto Frank, Anne's father who survived the holocaust and Miep Gies found her journal about what she had all written. Miep originally found it and gave it to Otto because he was the father and he deserved to see it and read it. It says that when Otto first received the journal he was too afraid to read it. He said if he read her journal it would make him break down in tears. Then when Otto finally had the courage to read the diary he was very impressed that she could write so well Then later in 1944 when the war was coming to an end Otto and Miep released the diary to the public so everyone in the future could have an idea what life was like during the war.
Anne Frank was a 16 year old girl who was killed during the time of the Natzis after being betraied. From her over packed diary, Anne changed how people looked at the world. When she was hiding in the annex during the war, her diary was her most prized possession and with that diary, she wrote everything from things she did, to what she wished she did instead of hiding in the annex for the years. She was in the annex with 8 people including her and was packed, one bit of noise would give them away. After the war was over, Anne’s diary was published and written in 67 different languages and over 30 million copies were sold.
While Anne was hiding, she received a diary that she could take notes in about what she was doing in the Secret Annex. The diary reveals Anne understands of universal moral issues and her typical concerns of a young woman, including the difficult relationships of a mother and the teenage yearning for love. This story is abut a girl that was writing her daily days while she was in the holocaust She was venting her fears and frustrations, and contemplating her everyday life. She was given the diary as a present from her parents in 1942, and named it Kitty. Through her diary writing, Anne Frank was in many ways her own counsellor in a time of great suffering and tribulation. She realized that writing down her thoughts and feelings could help her cope with the anxiety of the war and Nazi persecution.
During World War ll Anne Frank used thinking and communicating with clarity and precision to innovate a product that expressed her thoughts; created a diary that changed views of the world. Because she faced challenging hardships she illuminated the world by giving her thoughts about hiding away from the Nazis. Anne Frank faced many different challenges as a kid turning into a young woman. In fact, at thirteen years old Anne lived in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She lived in Amsterdam during World War ll, and was forced to live in a “Secret Annex” due to the invasion of the Nazis.
Imagine how it feels to be stuck in a tiny, miniscule room for almost two years, not able to make a sound or movement and if heard by someone,death or concentration camp is the destination? The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett is about a small family which consists of Anne, Margot, Mr. Frank, and Mrs. Frank who were in a shock of fear, and went into hiding during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. Over the course of the story other characters join the family into hiding such as Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan, and their son Peter. During the time of hiding, Anne kept a diary to write down all her thoughts, fears, and feelings and was later known to be the most important piece of literature from the times of the Holocaust. The story takes you through their everyday lives of hiding in the annex which also includes arguing and times of happiness.
It was on her 13th birthday that she got a diary. In her diary, she wrote about her friendships, crushes and her academic performance at school. Anne had an older sister named Margot, and they attended a Jewish school in Amsterdam. In this diary, the Franks moved to Netherlands from Germany because they feared prosecution. After the Germans invaded the Netherlands in 1940, the Franks, another family called the van Daans and Mr Russell hid in a small secret annex above Otto Frank’s, Anne’s father’s office.
