Last weekend I went to visit my one of my friends, who recently got a teaching job, in Rome, Georgia. Since there was nothing to do while in the small town I decided to head over to the museum to waste sometime and have something for my cultural event paper. I went on a tour and informational guide about Rome. The museum was called the Rome Area History Museum. The tour was sponsored by the Rome chamber of commerce and the tour lasted for 30-40 minutes.

In Northern Carolina their main crop was tobacco instead of rice and many of the early settlers came from Virginia. The sounds were not deep enough to permit seaports, so the northern settlers kept their ties to Virginia in order to have a port from which they could ship tobacco. In Southern Carolina their main crop was rice and Indians were the first slaves the southern settlers had, and later African Americans took their place. There were several differences between northern and southern Carolina. One of the main differences was that geographically, the northern part never fit in with the southern part of Carolina. In northern Carolina it was mostly populated by farmers that sold tobacco which was their primary crop. Many of the early settlers had come from Virginia and used their ports, because they did not have easy access to the southerner’s ports. The biggest difference between the north and south was that the south used slaves from Africa to farm the big plantations they had.
Rome and the US are similar and different. But I disagree with what Zackary Hopper and Sianna Sullivan. Zack thinks that they are similar and Sianna thinks that they are both different but I think that Rome and the US is different and similar The citizens of Rome had elected their leaders just like the US.

Columbus describes the Caribbean to have a variety of many trees, mountains, rivers and mines of metal along with a great number of inhabitants. Along with the great scenery description, Columbus includes that the Caribbean is very welcoming because of its inhabitants even though they are very timid at first. Las Casas, in his account, lets us know that the island Hispaniola was known as the largest and happiest before the Spaniards took over. The way that Las Casas describes the island during the time that the Spaniards were taking action to take over, includes only destruction, brutality and struggles for the indigenous people and their land.

Miami and New York both are wonderful places to visit. New York, it is one of the most populated cities in the U.S for their large buildings and Miami is one of the state most popular vacation spots. Although there are several similarities between Miami and New York, there are many obvious differences between them in their economy, entertainment, and cultures. New York and Miami are well known for their economy. Living in Miami or New York is extremely luxurious.
Personal Cultural Heritage Item Cultural heritage is what influences the values and fashion choices we adopt (Goddard, 2015). It is influences our family traditions and our family members. Most importantly, cultural heritage influences our zeitgeist or spirit of times that fits into our own history (Goddard, 2015).
