4th Hour Charley Poole District Performance Event Jimmy Valentine was a man that changed his life from robbing banks and being in jail to successfully owning a shoe store. Jimmy valentine is a famous, or rather infamous bank robber that just got out of jail. He found a new town that he would like to stay in. He also goes by the new name of Ralph Spencer. Jimmy Valentine was truly dedicated to living a moral life because he changed his name, he was about to give away his robbery gear, and he gave up crime to start a shoe company.

The reason I chose him was because I feel like he is left out more because of his brother Jesse James. Him and his brother were both criminal but Jesse James is remembered more because of his violent killings.

James Riddle was born on 14th February 1913 in Brazil. He was the second born in a family of four children and was an athlete. He started working full time while still a teenager in a department store as a stock boy after quitting school at the ninth grade. In 1930, he started working in a warehouse as a freight handler. This provided a platform for his career.

Holmes, was America’s first notorious serial killer and was from Chicago, Illinois during the 19th century. He mostly targeted young females and was known for his hotel where he killed most of his victims. He was eventually captured and was hanged in 1896. Due to the fact that Holmes committed many repugnant crimes while being completely aware of his actions, he should have gone to prison.

Stephen Paddock, the Las Vegas shooter, killed fifty eight people who had gathered along the Las Vegas strip for a music concert before shooting and ending his life. A statement from his brother to reporters stated that their father at some point was featured in the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. Patrick Hoskins Paddock, their father got arrested in 1960 after robbing banks and was served with a 20 year jail term. Eight years while serving his term in jail, he managed to escape and was on the run until 1978. Reports provided by the FBI stated that he was to be considered harmful to the society (Kutner, Max).

Jeffrey Dahmer was an American serial killer who killed 17 males over the course of 13 years. Jeffrey would go after mean, at gay bars, bus stops, and malls luring them to his house with promises of money then gave them alcohol that was laced with drugs then strangled them to death. After, Dahmer would engage in sexual acts with the dead bodies before dissecting them and disposing of them. Jeffrey would often keep the individual's skulls or other body parts as souvenirs. He also, took photos of his victims throughout the stages of murdering them, so he could relive the experience of the murders.

Less than two years ago, 25 year old Leon Bridges was washing dishes in a Texas restaurant. This was a good idea on his part, because he would avoid the death penalty. Unfortunately, the case was moved against him because the prosecutors denied his offer.
