pd.2 The War Of 1812 In the War of 1812, the Us went up against the greatest naval power in the world, Great Britain. In a conflict that would impacted on the young country’s future. The immediate causes of the war of 1812 were a series of economic sanctions taken by the british and french against the us as part of the napoleonic wars and american outrage at the british practice of the impressment especially after the chesapeake incident of 1807.

During the war of 1812 was an adjutant in the Cherokee regiment. He fought for the Cherokee valiantly without pay,and they still were not considered true Americans. John Ross was important because he was like a leader for the Cherokee.one year after the 1812 John Ross fought on the creek war of 1813-14 along with general Andrew Jackson. This is the wars that John Ross fought in and that he was a leader.

He was a farm worker until he became a sergeant in the Revolutionary war. He was involved in several wars against the British, such as Lexington, Bunker, Hill, and Saratoga, and was known to be an industrious, valuable and strong soldier. After the victory against Britain, he returned home to acquire a land for farming and decided to raise his family. However, America was not in a pleasant state after the war. One had to depend on trade for goods or services as in contrast to money.

He had very little education and work on his father’s farm. When the Revolutionary War sprung up he went to the army and fought at Lexington. Shays quickly fought his way up the rankings from army man to 2nd lieutenant to captain. He fought in the battles of Bunker Hill, Ticonderoga, Stony Point, and Saratoga. After, the war is when he is most famous for the brand new country was going through an economic depression.

The defeat of British troops ended the war of 1812 which boosted American’s patriotism and confidence. The defeat was the first of its kind in the history of America and British government. As a result, the nation’s economy expanded, businesses boomed and new states were also created. Europeans and Europeans born in America now consider themselves Americans, they was unity and Federalist Party died out. This era introduced the Anti-Federalists, John Monroe Jefferson’s Secretary of States won the votes and was elected as the President.

Thomas Jefferson was the third president of the United States. He ran against John Adams twice. The first time, he came in second, making him vice president. He then ran against him in the election of 1800, which had turned into a battle of Federalist and Democratic Republicans. He had defeated Adams due to a flaw in the electrical system.

James Monroe was relieved to return to its policy of isolationism after the war. He preferred to be isolated from other countries until 1821 when a revolution occurred due to the Spanish troops that were driven out of South America after 2 leaders liberated South America. Latin American nations were able to open their doors to foreign trade including Great Britain, who supported the revolutions. Once Great Britain asked the United States to join them in helping Spain recover its lost colonies and to leave Latin America alone, Monroe, Jefferson, and Madison liked the idea of joining together with them. Monroe got more involved and made a speech called the Monroe Doctrine, which was to congress stating that the nations of North and South America

He enrolled at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg in 1774, and almost immediately began participating in revolutionary activities. With a group of classmates, he invaded the arsenal at the British Governor's Palace, escaping with 200 muskets and 300 swords, which the students presented to the Virginia militia. He became an officer in the Continental

John Adams John Adams is the one of the most interesting person in the Revolutionary War. He had a huge impact on the Revolutionary War. He helped make the Declaration of Independence. In 1774 he served in the first continental congress. He was the first vice president of the United States and the second president.

Andrew Jackson was an amazing leader. He helped our country out by doing lots of things. He had a lot of leadership qualities and I would be excited to tell you some of his qualities. He also made very good decision making skills and he was a good listener. Andrew Jackson was a pragmatic leader who worked with patronage – oriental political system that excited then.

The Louisiana Purchase was the main the reason why he was a good president and how it help organize a better structure for the United States. Jefferson sent James Monroe to France to buy New Orleans for $15million but only paid 5 at the time. At this time, France agreed to sell not only New Orleans but the whole Louisiana Territory for $15 Million. Jefferson was making deals that helped the U.S. in many ways to make it a better continent. The purchase of the territory had tremendously doubled the size of the U.S. Lewis and Clark began their expedition in St. Louis and continued to the pacific using the Missouri River as a main transporting system.

He was the last of America’s Founding Fathers and was the last member of the Virginia Dynasty. He made many significant accomplishments while in office such as the Monroe Doctrine, the Missouri Compromise, and presided over the Era of Good Feelings. He also worked to recover the nation after the unexpected Panic of 1819. This caused a major downfall in the United States economy. Monroe was able to work through it and rebuild a stable economy.

George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and James Monroe were the first five presidents of the United States and the people who led America to success during a time of great conflict. These presidents helped shape America into what it is today. Without their problems during their presidencies and then solving them, no one knows where America would be. For example, why did President Madison go to war, in 1812, unlike all of the previous and future presidents. Washington wanted to stay neutral during his presidency, so he completely avoided war with foreign countries.

James Monroe, the fifth and last president of the Revolutionary Generation, was a historical figure who had made the most lasting impact on the United States. Through the years of his presidency (known as the “Era of Good Feelings”), Monroe took several actions using his leadership qualities to create America’s most influential impacts; he had strengthened our economy, caused our nation to be more independent, and shaped the country to be who we are today. Because of these influences, James Monroe made the most lasting impact on the United States. During the years of 1818-1820, James Monroe had showed that he was a deliberate thinker.

Not only was he a political figure who was most remembered for his part in writing the constitution, but he was more than that, he was secretary of state and president during times in which had
