Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer: Serial Killer

Jeffrey Dahmer is a criminal accused of murder and sexual assault in the later years of the 1900s. Dahmer is suspected of murdering nearly twenty people throughout his course. African Americans consisted of the majority of Dahmers victims. Following the death of his victims, Dahmer would often document the bodies through photography. He would also cut up the bodies of the victims, and keep certain parts of the bodies.

He dismembered the bodies and often ate parts of them. He also performed an experiment one of his victims. Dahmer injected hydrochloric acid into the brain of a 14 year old boy in attempt to zombify him. This, of course, killed the boy and his body was dismembered and stored in acid. After killing 17 boys and men, Dahmer almost killed his 18th victim.

Dahmer invited them inside without hesitation and offered no explanation as to why he had handcuffed the victim. While the officers looked throughout Jeffreys home, they found pictures of dead bodies, and then when the officer opened the refrigerator they found a severed head on the bottom shelf. The trial for Dahmer began in 1992 and he was tried for 15 counts of murder. He pled guilty however, they debated whether he suffered from either a personality disorder or mental disorder. Health professionals, diagnosed Dahmer with borderline personality disorder, sadistic traits, and obsessive compulsive.

Jeffrey Dahmer was 18 years old when he committed his first murder crime, it was during a summer of the year 1978. Being confused about his homosexual needs lead him to commit a murder to Steven Hicks a nineteen-year-old ‘hitchhiker’ who was invited by Dahmer to drink some beers at his father’s house. “When Hicks was ready to leave Dahmer bashed him in the head with a barbell and killed him” (Montaldo, 2015). Montaldo (2015) stated that Dahmer did not wanted for Hicks to leave the house, so there for he killed Steven dismembered the body and stored every part of the body into trash bags, buried them in his father’s property. In 1994, he was on a team with two other inmates cleaning the prison’s gym bathroom when another inmate fatally attacked. The police sauntered into the bathroom only to find Dahmer lying on the ground in a pool of his own blood coming from his head. Because of the horrific attack on Jeffery Dahmer, he died a few minutes after prison personnel found him. When the paramedics were called to the scene, it was concluded that Dahmer’s head injuries were so severe that it looked like that of a car accident victim. An emergency responder said that he had never seen head injuries that severe before.

The “Milwaukee” serial killer aka Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer was born on May 21, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His parents were Joyce Dahmer and Lionel Dahmer. Lionel Dahmer received a doctorate in analytical chemistry in 1966 which meant that he did not have much time to pay attention to Jeffrey. Not only were they both controlling and strong but Joyce was a neurotic. Their marriage was rocky as the years went on which meant that it became a habit for Jeffrey to see and hear his parents argue.

He also experimented with many ways of disposing the bodies just for his own entertainment. Dismembering them, dissolving them in chemicals, or even keeping parts of them as souvenirs. He would take picture of victims during many stages of his gruesome murder process so he could relive his work afterwards. Even when he got bored he would take skulls that he kept as souvenirs and other genitalia and masterbate in front of and in to them to pleasure himself.

Dahmer took the body to his grandmother's basement and had sex with the corpse and masterbated on the body. After, Dahmer experienced with chemical disposal. Jeffrey put the body in hydrochloric acid and this caused it to slowly disintegrate eventually turning the body into liquid. If he didn't want to dispose of it that way, he would dismember the body and boil the pieces and eat them. On may 26, 1991, Dahmer killed a young boy and performed oral sex on his corpse before liquefying his body and flushing it down the toilet.

He was not just an average murder, he had his own techniques and aspects to his killings. I have watched all the interview I could find with Jeffrey Dahmer in it, he was not a taciturn man, he barely put effort into hiding his victims. All of his victims were men, most of them were black. He would usually lure them into his home with the promise of money or sex, and then he would lace their alcohol with drugs, then

Once at his place he would offer alcohol and drug them so they could not get away. Dahmer was a sadistic sexual serial killer who liked to have control over his victims even after they were dead. Dahmer who would dismember his victims’ bodies often saving their skulls or other body parts also practiced necrophilia and cannibalism.
