In his early years, Caesar left Rome to join the military. Caesar traveled to many places around the world including Asia, Cilicia, and Rhodes. When Caesar traveled to Rhodes for philosophical studies, he was kidnapped by pirates. He was able to have a naval force organized that ended up saving Caesar and killing the pirates. Julius Caesar was born on July of 100 bc in Rome, Italy. His parents were Aurelia C. Caesar and Gaius Caesar. Julius Caesar had two sisters and they were both named Julia. One was Julia major and Julia minor. Julia minor had the biggest impact in Julius life.

He fought in many wars and became involved in Roman politics. After having many alliances, he then became the dictator of the Roman Empire only to rule for just one year before his death. In 86 BC, He married Cornlia daughter of a nobleman, they had a daughter by the name of Julia Caeseris when Cornlia passed away he remarried to Pompeia, granddaughter of the Roman Dictator Sulla. Their marriage lasted a good amount of year but later divorced. Later in 59 BC Caesar married Calpurnia, she was a teenager who he remained married for the remaining years of his life.

During the fall of the Republic and the rise of the empire, the citizens that rose to power in Rome all possessed the same characteristic. Two men that held power during this time, Julius Caesar and Caesar Augustus(Octavian), possessed determination which allowed for them to be great military leaders. Julius Caesar was a marvelous general who conquered many nations during his reign as both consul and emperor, and he greatly expanded Rome’s territory.

He did his education in Rome to establish a career in public speaking and became a leading barrister in Rome. In 66 BC he was elected as a praetor and later elected as consul in 63 BC. In 59 B.C. Caesar married Calpurnia. In the same year, he also won the support of the wealthy equites by getting a reduction on their tax contracts in Asia. This caused him to be very popular amongst the wealthy citizens of Rome. Crassus and Pompey had differences that began to show, so Caesar moved in 56 B.C. to fix the problems. The problem between Crassus and Pompey was fixed when an agreement was reached that they should both be consuls in 55 B.C.

Julius Caesar was a Powerful Roman politician and general, who served as a god to the Romans. He played a key role in the events that led to the downfall of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman empire. His reign from 49 B.C to 44 B.C illustrated his dominance in controlling a commanding army and ruling a nation. Many historians have different opinions on Caesar's command. Some saw him as a leader for the people, whereas others saw him as a man searching for power and power alone.

Julius Caesar lived around 100 BC to 44 BC. In his early life he had great ambitions to lead Rome into another Golden age but like all dreams, you have to put in the work to get there. So at an early age he joined the Roman Army to gain more knowledge about the battlefield. While in the army, Julius had much praise because he had saved his comrade. When Julius left the army he thought that it would be better if he went to Italy to increase his intellect and his rhetorical skills.

In 62 BC, he was elected praetor in Farther Spain. In 61 to 60 BC he served as governor of the Roman province of Spain. Then, in 59 BC, Caesar was elected as a consul, the most significant political post, through his alliance with Pompey. As soon as he became consul, Caesar waged a successful campaign against some tribes in Lusitania. He was awarded the right of triumph for his victory despite the fact that many of his enemies accused him of provoking the war.
