Secondary research is also known as desk research and it consist the data which has already been produce it can be quantitative, qualitative or historical also it can be seen as internal data and as well as external data. Secondary research is the process which involves collecting data it may be originator or distributor of primary research, secondary sources include documents, letter, diaries, autobiographies and referencing other forms of research and quotes. KFC they are able to save money and time through having enough employees who are able to do most on the work which saves time as well as money because they will serve more customers in a short period of time.

KFC uses this research so that to consider being valuable because whenever they want to develop new products and bringing up to the markets, they undergo this research for testing and investigate what their customer’s favourite food and how much they know about KFC Company. Hence, this qualitative research it basically the customer’s opinions.

Fusing the Ideologies of Monomaternalism Introduction Shelley Park seeks to develop “an alternative to the ideology of monomaternalism that would permit young children to recognize multiple mothers for themselves” (120). In Park’s argument, she emphasizes the importance to try to see the world from a child’s point of view. Her reasoning behind this being that too often adults impose their reality on the child, thus rendering the child from establishing a reality of their own. In the “Fusion Cuisine” episode of the Cartoon Network show Steven Universe, the show is told from the child, Steven’s, point of view which allows the viewer to get a sense of what it would look like if a child was in total control of creating their own reality. Through Steven, it is apparent that an alternative ideology to monomaternalism is a possibility if adults listen to what the child has to say rather than imposing their own ideology upon the child.
The meaning of secondary data is the second- hand analysis. This mean the analysis of data and the information that was gathered by someone else. Example of secondary data is researchers, institution and data collected, data base, technical reports, scholarly journals, books, hand books, print out, literature review articles, trade journals and reference books, these are example of source from secondary data. Doing my independent internal review I will have to study the policies and procedure first to know and understand the policies and procedures. I will find their policy and procedure in their handbook, it will give me how the procedure and policy go and it will detail me with both these important concepts.
For the secondary sources, I will search books, journals or any type of it from the internet. I will compare the different articles and analyze the arguments. They did this because it is a reliable source of information because it is directly from the target market. As well as this one of their main research methods Kellogg’s used is focus group, which was used to essentially provide them with qualitative research.
It also contributes directly to ensuring the food they serve is safe for guests. Burger King works directly with producers to ensure all products are ethically sourced and that they comply with global standards and best practice. Their criteria is strict and closely monitored to ensure they partner with responsible suppliers who apply water saving techniques, don’t abuse the use of chemicals, and who conduct stock rotation to name but a few. This helps us to ensure that the products served to their guests fully comply with their responsible food journey
The price strategy which KFC is currently adopting is geographical pricing. It is because the menu prices is set differently in each country. For example, KFC Malaysia snack plate is priced at RM 5.95 while snack plate in Singapore is priced at SGD 6.40. Generally, they use market penetration pricing for new products. KFC sets their price slightly lower as compared to their competitors in order to entice customers away from their competitors.

In quantitative research, variables are identified and defined, and then relevant data is collected from study participants. A strength of this type of research is that the data is in numeric form, making it easier to interpret. It also studies the relationship between independent and dependent variables and can address questions such as does a relationship between variables exist, what is the direction of the relationship, how strong is the relationship between the variables, and what is the nature of the relationship. To be able to discover and answer the cause-and-effect relationship is a strength of quantitative research. Lastly, in quantitative research, the study can either be experimental or nonexperimental, meaning clinical trial or observational study, allowing for different types of research studies to be conducted.
