Makayla: Having Sequence is great Use First Pattern. But it can also be bad as well. Makayla only seem to just keep using that pattern instead of going and trying other pattern that may work a little better. I know this all to well. I am the same way when it comes to taking test. The advice I would give to her would be try different learning patterns, what works for one assignment might not work for another. Try making them work together so some things aren’t that challenging to accomplish.
John:
He seemed like he had just gave to much information. Sometimes when it comes to writing we tend to go into much more detail than what’s needed. My Advice to John would be, sometimes when writing to family being short, sweet, and to the point can
John and his father eventually created a bond and started talking about the war, “if we were alone, he would begin talking about some aspect of the war or of his service” (McLean 355). In other words Jonathan's dad was hurt when he saw his son looking through his stuff. Jonathan's actions mentally hurt his father because he didn't respect the boundaries and instead of asking him about the war he just went through his stuff. In real life most people don't want to talk about a “touchy” (topic they are sensitive about) subject unless the other person understands it. Although Johnathens dad was hurt by his son, looking through his fathers stuff created a more
Allowing his brother to move in, created a source of income for him and his family. This allowed John to stall getting a job to support his family. This down time allowed him to continue with his old lifestyle of partying and drinking. In a way, John
Gladwell and viewers would agree that a teen that writes something like that in their journal they have something wrong with them. Something that wasn't right in his years that happen to him that made him this way. Gladwell thinks he might have been abused by a person in his childhood years and that could be the reason John could be feeling this
John and Julie did provide both same and different perspectives for their family. For example, both thought that they are worried about their children’s future and how the economy will make their children struggle with finding a good and stable job. Both parents want their children to be successful. The difference between John and Julie is that they both cope with their worries differently. John talks to his wife about the struggles by putting all of the stress on her.
This demonstrates that his family was caring and spent quality time together. Things were not so bad before his mother became an alcoholic.
Yet, other individuals highlight that communication can be beneficial and crucial when overcoming difficulties. However, there are times when individuals do not realise the importance of communication in the present moment and they need time to come to the realisation of the significance of interactions. However, Kennedy also shows within Christine's husband's words that he will always love her no matter what happens, which allows Christine to believe that theirs hope for their marriage. ‘I’m sure everything will work out fine’ the powerful words from Al allows Christine to realise that she’s not in it alone. This reflects on my life and is very significant for me because my parents would try to help me in any way possible whenever I felt as if no one was ever there for me in the difficult times
Family reunions are often used to dwell upon the past and reflect upon one’s life. Richard Rodriguez, in is his passage, goes to extreme lengths to explain to the reader his carefully taken observation of his family’s life. Looking deeper into the words and feelings of the passage, Rodriguez portrays a sense of strong family values. It is apparent (by his selective use of diction and narrative structure found throughout the passage) that Rodriguez is writing to a more mature, experienced audience. As a mature writer, Rodriguez knows that the best way to connect with his audience is through the one day responsible for some of their greatest childhood memories -- Christmas.
Mineko refused to call Masako “mother” because I don’t think she ever thought about it and because she didn’t really feel like she belonged to Masako. The thing that changed her mind was that she realized how hard Masako worked for and she realized how much Masako wanted her to succeed. This is a turning point in Mineko and Masako relationship because Mineko always used to call Masako, “Old Meanie” and did not think of her as mother, just someone who was mean and didn’t want the best for her. By calling Masako “mother”, it changed their whole relationship into an intimate bond that they would cherish for a very long
While taking AP Physics Mechanics, I had a teacher who taught strategically, leaving out critical information that would be on an assessment so he could teach it after people fail. After bringing most of the class down to a 50 percent average, I began to panic. I couldn’t believe that I was so behind; therefore, I decided to meet with my teacher, not asking for pity but for tips on how to prepare for these seemingly impossible tests. He confessed he is full of tricks, so I developed a coping method. I perceived the class as a game where I jump over every hurdle to win.
That doesn 't excuse it, but it shows how families have hard times and have to push through to keep the relationship going. It doesn’t excuse at all that this 100% wasn’t okay to say to
His relationship with his mother is much different than his relationship with his father. He loves his mother, as noted in the following quotation. ¨He watched her face, his heart swollen with love for her and with an anguish, not yet his own, that he did not understand and that frightened him¨ (Baldwin 26). His mother treats him with kindness and love, as opposed to his step-father, who abuses his children. John’s love for his mother is also expressed when his step-father slaps her and John fills with hatred directed toward him.
I feel incredibly guilty for having allowed distance to grow between me and the people that were once my source of support. Although I have talked with them on occasion and even helped one of them through a stressful college experience, there were many things I should have caught them up on and asked for their advice. This letter was meant to address things that I have done wrong, and to show that I am indeed working on incorporating people from both my past and presents lives. In addition, it provided a glimpse into the kinds of neighborhoods I grew up in and how they contributed to my impressions of the people I

For notes, I typed quotes and information about Dear that would be good to know later. Receiving emails from Father Dear was crucial to my project. They
Makayla As a use first pattern in sequence shows that Makayla wants to make sure she does not skip a beat. Although it may be good to complete problems or tasks in a set order, it may also provide a negative outcome as well. In my own personal experience I have tried to make lists for myself at work and complete one task at a time, but I found that I end up spending more time on certain things than others. I now do a lot of multitasking in the office which helps me get the quick and easy things out of the way.
