Proposal. I made the choice to say that Eastern Michigan University should allow medical marijuana. I noted the facts about drug addiction and the drugs that gave off serious side effects. I made the choice to go over second hand smoke and Eastern Michigan’s policy against tobacco. I explained to people what marijuana was, how It was used, and the main effects of using marijuana.

But, did you know that all of these issues can be fixed if marijuana was legalized in all 50 states? Although many people think that marijuana is a horrible drug, there any many benefits that we as American’s can receive from marijuana. Whether it be from taking the drug yourself, or just supporting it in general. First of all, marijuana has been proven in many, many different medical lab studies to help those who suffer from cancer, seizures, everyday pain, and even anxiety. There are different forms of marijuana and also many different ways that the drug can be used, from smoking to an oil.

Marijuana, formerly known as Cannabis, has been looked at in a medical sense for centuries. Marijuana was seen as a household drug throughout the seventeenth to the early twentieth century as a remedy to reduce nausea or vomiting, headaches, an anti-inflammatory, and the choice of pain reliever. To begin with, marijuana can prevent diseases/infections from even coming in. Hospitals use this for certain health conditions like Aids, Epilepsy, and many more. Usually, marijuana is given to you in a form called a edible. Once you consume the edible, you fall asleep and it will prevent/kill viruses. This is not a 100% the best way to cure a sickness, but it has been very good for a long time.
