Methamphetamine is a nervous system stimulant drug. The drug is extremely addictive, it is a white, odorless, bitter-tasting crystalline powder. There are many different ways you can take this drug. Such as orally, smoked, snorted, or dissolved in water or alcohol and injected. When you smoke or inject the substance, it quickly goes to the brain. When it goes to the brain it causes intense euphoria. Intense euphoria is when a person experiences intense feelings of well-being, happiness, and excitement.

Methamphetamine increases the amount of neurotransmitter dopamine in the brain, which leads to high levels of chemicals in the brain. The dopamine sends signals to the other nerve cells. The toxins from the chemicals used can cause many health problems, to the people that lives in the area of the drug being made. Taking small doses of this drug can cause the same physical effects as the other stimulant drugs. When taking methamphetamine for a long time, it can cause many opposed problems with your physical health. That includes severe weight loss, dental problems which is also known as “meth mouth,” and skin sores caused by scratching.
