Moses By Elie Wiesel

As previously mentioned in the previous chapter regarding the life of Moses, sometime around 1446BC, he goes to discuss with the Pharaoh the release of the Israelites from slavery. The Pharaoh refuses to release the Israelites, consquently, God releases ten plagues onto Egypt to force the Pharaoh to let the Israelites leave Egypt. The ten plagues consisted of water into blood, frogs, lice, swarm of flies, diseased livestock, men and animals will break out with boils, thunderstorm of hail and fire, locusts, three days of darkness and death of all first-born son and daughters. The Pharaoh finally consents to the Israelites leaving Egypt allowing Moses to organize the Israelites and begin their 40 year journey back to Canaan, but the Pharaoh commands a group of his soldiers to chase after and kill all of the Israelites. Moses went to the mountain to speak with God to get instructions from Him, but the Israelites sinned against God before Moses came down from the mountain. The Lord was greatly angered. And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, up make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. Religion and faith can shape a person's form in different ways either a good or bad way. The book shows how these camps can use a person's humanity, and How it can affect their religion. Eliezer and his family got captured and taken to camps, while some died and others were injured. Eliezer had to use his faith in god to know they would come out alive even if he had second thoughts.

They forbed the Israelites from praying to God. God was not happy about how his people were being mistreated, so assigned Moses to demand that the Pharaoh let his people go.

Another thing we can learn from God and Moses relationship is obedience. Moses obeyed God in everything that God told him to fulfill. When God told Moses to lead the Hebrews out of Egypt, Moses did not stop until he led the Hebrews out of Egypt.

Moses is the main character in the book of Exodus. He constantly leads the Israelites through all their suffering and guides them to follow God's law and trust in Him. 6. The purpose of the book of Exodus is to show how "'The sons of Israel' in Ex 1:1 [who] are the actual sons of Jacob/Israel the patriarch,” become “the nation Israel”. 7. In Exodus, God shows that he will always fight to keep his people safe when he sends the plagues to free the Israelites, and protects them along their journey to Mount Sinai.

Moses was a boy born to Hebrew women. His mother when his fate so she put him in a basket and sent him down the river. The Pharaoh’s sister there say him and decided to take him in. God told Moses not to move and to take off his sandals because he was in the holy land. God responded by telling him that he was going to help the Hebrew people out of Egypt.

He overly relies on God to solve every problem he encounters, not believing himself to be able to solve them. His lack of drive and overdependence on God causes problems to arise again and again. The Israelites’ disobedience of God’s commands and their constant complaints about their conditions in their wilderness are such examples of Moses’s incompetence when it comes to exerting control over the Israelites. In the time of Moses, Pharaoh was killing all newborn male babies. So Moses´ mother hid him. One day she placed him the a river (Nile River) and was carried to Pharaoh's daughter. Later when Moses grew, he became an important figure in the Exodus and in other activities. He got contacted by God to free his people (Hebrews) and take them to the promised land.
