Being nominated to be a member of the National Honor Society is an honor in itself. I was certainly looking to be a part of this prestigious honor society since the beginning of my high school career here in United States. The function I see in this organization such as National Honor Society is for the members to first be recognized as part of NHS and second to be a group of hard-working, successful, and dedicated people. I also see the function of the organization as the members having potential to succeed in whatever they are willing to work hard for. In the organization NHS, a function I would also see is the members taking challenges to benefit in the long run. Going through adversities is a factor of being in NHS because of the difficulties that the organization will put in front of them. It is 7:56 PM, I step out the bus, hopping over a mysterious liquid on the sidewalk. Speed walking my way home on the torn up gravel sidewalk. I walk by a group of fellow residents of my neighborhood. Questions immediately surface to the front of my mind, with apprehension: “Did I stare for too long?” “Does my walk look too flamboyant?”

The National Honor Society is an exceptional organization that allows students to help the needy, children, the elderly, and non-profit organizations. I would be excited to join such a society because of the limitless opportunities it presents to me. Joining NHS would allow me to grow as a person, and do as much as I can for others. Throughout my years as a student, I have shown great examples of scholarship, leadership, character and service that I believe would qualify to join this prestigious society.

National Honor Society Junsu Yoon After I came to SJNMA, I had run into lots of troubles. As a new boy who came after the military training was over, I had to caught up with all the school function by myself. I could not imagine succeeding or even making stable life at the school. However, I have challenged myself throughout the year, pushing myself to be the better person tomorrow. There were few challenges I faced in this school such as academics, athletics, spiritual and character development, and the military traditions.

I recognize the National Junior Honor Society as a prestige group that contains members who excel at demonstrating Scholarship, Service, Citizenship, Character, and Leadership. They prove to have many advantages, a highly beneficial one being the experience in such an honorable organization. It would be a great honor to be inducted into NJHS, as it would not only benefit myself but the club. I have been told frequently that I surpass average at demonstrating scholarship.

I am truly honored to be considered for being a part of The national honor Society. Being a part of this organization has been a goal for me since I first knew about what it was, and how it does great things for the community. I am inspired when I hear the great actions it national honor Society has done and I hope to be a part of this admirable organization. I feel I am qualified to be a part of this organization because of my dedication and hard work. Every day I follow the same routine.

I am deeply honored and humbled to be among the brilliant and best students who are being considered for the NHS. I have been looking forward to this opportunity since I was accepted at Brophy. I know that National Honor Society does great things in our world today. I was a part of National Junior Honor Society at Saint Theresa Catholic School and that that has had a huge impact on the person I am today. I believe that I exemplify the four pillars of National Honors Society, those being character, scholarship, leadership, and service.

National Honor Society is a great opportunity for me. I heard that there is a lot of people who have good leadership and provide awesome ideas in national Honor Society. I would like to be member of this, acquire a great experience, and share my ideas to contribute volunteer, donations and so on. I love to see people are happy when I help them. joining NHS would allow to me grow as a person and provide me a way to go a great future.

Being a part of the National Honor Society would be a privilege. I have been chosen as a candidate due to my academic excellence, but I understand it takes more than just a good GPA. I believe my abilities to be a leader, serve others, and express good character meet the standards set by NHS. The service opportunities that I will have as a part of NHS is what I look forward to the most.

I know I’m sitting in front of my silver Mac laptop but yet I can see anything in front of me. I’m starring at a colourful screen but yet I can’t comprehend what I am reading. All of a sudden everything looks blurry. I panic a little as I wonder why this is occurring.

Leadership is a character trait that separates one from the pack, it describes someone who is confident and creative. My leadership skills that I have learned throughout my life journey have helped me on numerous occasions. I aspire to be a teacher, so leadership is a vital quality in order to keep a classroom attentive and under control. I am the president of the Jefferson Awards Foundation Students in Action club at my school, and have been for the past 3 years. This incredible opportunity has allowed me to use my leadership skills in many different ways, as well as assisted me in becoming a better leader.

I believe that I exhibit all four attributes of a National Honors Society member but the one I predominantly excel in is character. Character can be defined as the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. On way I uphold my morals is through my care for animals. I have been vegetarian for nearly 5 years because I do not agree with the mistreatment the animals go through just to get onto our plates. I have also volunteered at the Jefferson Road Animal Hospital to participate in the Vet for A Day program to further my knowledge into how to help animals I may come by in my daily life.
