Modern warfare is a multifaceted adventure that is successful by a combination of forces working in unison to achieve a common mission. The Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP) is a critical element that is established through all levels. It encompasses a large range of military operations, which includes other military forces (Navy, Marines, Air Force, etc.) and allies to the United States. Within this planning process, course of actions (COA’s) are developed, analyzed then checked against alternate COA’s to produce the order or plan.

The Spanish and Americans won with 15 killed and 6 wounded. The militia had 37 missing or captured. The British said they had 4 killed and 4 wounded. No one knew if the British were understating,especially,because their operation failed. The British retreated,but they killed and captured many residents.

The first two planes crashed into the twin towers in N.Y.C, the third plane crashed into the pentagon in Virginia, and the fourth and final plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania.

Loffreda's essay title "Losing Matt Shepard" itself speaks great volumes. Her emphasis on "Losing" perhaps shows us a great amount of sorrow felt in the "loss" of Matt. Furthermore, in regard to her emphasis on "losing" she quite clearly shows us how we are losing to value life, which is why these hate crimes occur. Matt had not done any crime, his only crime was being gay. A crime which itself isn't even a crime.

The people of Laramie, Wyoming have many different opinions about homosexuality. Many people do not care about whether someone is gay or not while others believe it is morally wrong. Some people strongly believe that the straight people or Laramie and Wyoming are also to blame for this tragedy just as the Germans were to blame for the Holocaust. Whether one cares or not the murder of Matthew Shepard was a tragic event that sparked outrage for equal rights for the LGBT+ community and everyone who supported

9/11 on the other hand was a terrorist attack towards our country. President Roosevelt gave a speech from the attack of Pearl Harbor. The speech was “Day of Infamy speech”. President Bush also presented the nation a speech after 9/11. The speech was known as “Address to the nation on September 11 attacks the oval office”.
