Paul Revere was born on December 1734, in Boston 's north end. The young boy had 11 siblings, he was the second oldest son and the oldest surviving son. When Paul Revere jr. was growing up in Boston, Boston had really great public schools. Paul Revere 's dad wanted his son to follow in his footsteps and become a silversmith just like him. Revere thought differently, and at the age of thirteen Paul had graduated from writing school.
