Connell, I sat behind a girl named Jamie. Jamie to me was the prettiest girl in the world. She had long blonde hair and ocean blue eyes and the prettiest smile I could remember. I am sure that I did not like girls in third grade romantically, but I know I made an exception for Jamie. I honestly and purely thought she was lovely. I 'm gonna miss you so much." Even if you don 't believe it, that 's when my dream of becoming a writer ignited. Seventh grade was the year I met Mrs. Flores... I didn 't like her, or her class. For me English class meant complete boredom.

I have never really considered Greenville the town where I grew up in. But, it is the place where I have made many changes in my life and grew to be the person I am. I guess I consider the place where I grew up to be home, and I do not see Greenville as a home. My heart has always belonged in Georgia, because that is where all my family lives and I have the most memories with my family all together. When it comes down to it, Greenville is in fact the place I grew up.
