California needs an arrangement on computer science classes
Silicon Valley is known for dispatching new thoughts with high force and on a massive scale. So it's nothing unexpected that with the backing of the technology business, computer science education is extending at lightning speed.
In any case, scaling up without an unmistakable system could have unintended results. That is the reason we're approaching California to build up an exhaustive arrangement for computer science education over the state.
With backing from Assemblywoman Susan Bonilla and Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, Assembly Bill 2329 would set up a various consultative board to grow such a key arrangement. The bill is to be heard Friday by the Assembly Appropriations Committee.
Computer science is not just about access to technology. It is about students learning basic considering, coordinated effort and

However stand out in four secondary schools offers software engineering, and in numerous schools, young ladies and students of shading are woefully underrepresented.
The nation over, there's a feeling of direness to extend computer science education. Extensive urban school regions, including Chicago, New York and Oakland, have revealed eager arrangements to coordinate software engineering in K-12 instruction. States including Arkansas and Idaho are permitting students to number computer science toward secondary school graduation prerequisites.
California has the chance to lead the country in building up a far reaching arrangement for computer science education; however it must guarantee access for all. We must be mindful so as not to compound the disparities that exist in our schools today. We definitely realize that schools serving low-wage students and understudies of shading have unequal access to all around arranged educators, thorough educational programs and
Today there is a huge debate between Common Core Standards and the Alabama College and Career Readiness Standards. These two standards are highly debated and investigated amongst teachers, government officials, and parents to understand which standards will enhance student’s academic knowledge. Some state political boards do not agree with the new adoption if the Common Core Standards. After researching both standards and gaining my own opinion, I think to adopt the new Common Core Standards is a positive thing for our school systems. Even though it has some negative like difficult transition for students, standards are vague, and unequal access to technology in the classroom and at home (Meador, 2017).
The Calaveras Redskins football team is back in a familiar situation - the playoffs. After a one-year hiatus from postseason play, the Redskins are back and are the No. 2. seed in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division IV Championships. With earling the No. 2. seed, Calaveras will have home field advantage all the way to the championship game.
I don’t support Yes California, because even though the state has the burden of subsidizing other states and it is making it hard for it’s people, it is not ready for this kind of transition, at least not right now. Yes California can wait a few more years until they can at least make their own currency and be able to fund the UC without needing to rely on federal funds. Yes California’s campaign is something that should be aspired to in the future once they are truly ready for this
In the United States, representation of democratic government has very close relationship with geography. The United States is currently operating the federal system of government, which means that power is divided between different levels of government such as local, state, and federal. For each level of government, population and geography is one of the biggest deciding factor. First of all, there are three elected position, and they represent different range of the country. President, who has 4 year term, represents the entire country, and 2 senators representing each state make up 100 senators who have six year term.
Hurry hurry conserve the water before it’s runs out! Did you know California is in a drought? Animals and crops all over California are dying because california has been in a drought for four years now. The government is limiting the water uses to farmers.
Example? California, U.S.A. The state is so overpopulated and waste their water so much that the bodies of water that the state gets their water from, are almost gone if not completely gone already. Areas in California are now deserts where there used to be green grass. Why? We took advantage of it, and now?
Most Colombians are being forced out of their homes and forced to live on the streets. Some are threatened and harmed and are pulled and have to live on the streets. Paramilitaries will enter a region and start to execute local community leaders. This right is being broken by small armies destroying the civilians and also harming them and sometimes killing them. Other problems currently in Colombia are deforestation and the environmental issues.
The first attempt and success to climb Mt. Everest occured in 1953. Since then, almost 4,000 people have been able to scale the mountain, but over 230 people have not been able to climb it successfully. There is a chance of accident or death when climbing this mountain or any dangerous activity. All people should should have the right to rescue services even if they knowingly put themselves at risk because there is always a chance of an accident happening, rangers are there to save people in danger, and there are rescue vehicles being produced to be used in case of an emergency.
Computer programing is a safe field because as Picchi explains, “The job outlook is strong, with the Bureau of Labor Statistics projecting that employment will expand by 20 percent through 2022” (Picchi 2015). With an expanding field, individuals are now more able to plan a career path resulting in an alternative to college education. This is appealing considering an individual can begin programing at any age. As Piccchi explains, “Talent and coding knowledge is more important than a college degree.
Just this past month, there was a scary amount of powerful and fast moving hurricanes that hit the United States and several island countries, one being Puerto Rico. Hearing about Hurricane Maria and the destruction it left in Puerto Rico was so heartbreaking, especially considering the country’s current standing. Puerto Rico is part of the united states, but often it gets left unforgotten, and sadly, Trump and his administration have seemed to forget about them during their time of need. Trump’s efforts at crisis intervention and relief measures are lacking, but it’s his attitude towards the situation that’s been inexcusable.
If a source of energy can not be replaced in a short period of time, its considered a nonrenewable resource. Millions of years ago animals and plants have died and decayed, building up in thick layers. Over time theses layers get buried deeper and deeper get put under more and more pessure. All of this pressure changes this matter into coal, petroleum, and natural gas.
My interest in the Computer Science major at Carnegie Mellon was first piqued while I was in the Microsoft Student Partners Program, where I met a Technical Evangelist from Microsoft who graduated from the course. I had heard from him how the nation’s best graduates of Computer Science were often recruited from Carnegie Mellon. Naturally, this keen interest sparked off by my encounter with him did not just stop there as I am now sitting at my desk writing my CMU supplementary essays. As someone who has been trying to find myself within the tech sector in the future, Carnegie Mellon’s vast ties to the technology world only serve to underscore its appeal.
But I think the breadth of study within computer science is not necessarily a bad thing. It doesn’t need to be strictly defined. Within the computer science department at my university, there’s a huge variety of interests among the students and professors. The multitude of perspectives complement each other, and help the field grow.
Adding coding to the curriculum in schools would not only allow students the ability to code, but also a better understanding of other
In view of such a global scenario I have decided to pursue my Masters degree in ‘Computer Science’, which I consider as a
