Many people can not offer their children good lives except from the USA. Dr. Argle received a letter from a father from Africa. The letter stated that the most helpful thing the father could do for his children is have them be US citizens. The US offers many more safety nets and protection than other countries. Also, there were no immigration laws at the time of this amendments creation because it has always been fact that the US was a home for the persecuted and poor.

The immigration system is not something people think about every day, but it is a huge problem for the individuals coming to America. Many people want to come to America because of the opportunities, one being education. Immigrants may have the opportunity to come to America, but cannot afford to go to college to receive the education deserved. There needs to be an education plan provided to immigrants. Collectively undocumented immigrants have paid an estimate of $10.6 billion to state and local taxes as of 2010 according to the Institution on Taxation and Economic Policy. state governments cited IRS figures showing that 50% to 75% of the about 11 million unauthorized U.S. immigrants file and pay income taxes each year. Another myth created in our society is that illegal immigrants drain or abuse the system.

Dear fellow nasty women and bad hombres, America is one the greatest experiments in freedom and liberty history has ever known. We are a nation that was built on the minds and ideals of immigrants. Our Founding Fathers created America so that everyone could have a chance at "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". Those are aspects of my country, I would never change because they are what make us unique. The glow of America casts a ripple of hope upon those who struggle.

It is merely a temporary fix for the bigger issue of a broken immigration system. Despite President Trump’s heartfelt statement, his actions are the oppsite of his words. DACA enables young people to pursue their passions and dreams and to develop their skills and talents without fear of being ripped from all they know. We would want the best for any child, allowing them to become full-fledged contributors to our society. I believe that without DACA, there wouldn’t be any opportunities for the dreamers to continue any further for our right to succeed and what’s best for our future. As we know, immigrants are known as “Dreamers” who come to this country illegally.

How would you feel if you and your family were denied the opportunity to a better life or had to wait years for one? The immigrants goal is to strive for a better future for themselves and their family. Coming here will help them achieve that goal. You may be thinking why cant they have a good future where they live? In some cases, the country they live in could be poor, not have many schools, is not safe, etc.

In some people’s minds, they automatically assume yes, but in reality, it’s a no, immigrants tend to perform labor, and do minimal jobs that Americans don’t, and won't do, so they mistake that as immigrants taking ‘Americans job’, but it’s actually a missed opportunity. One reason for people not taking the jobs is because of the hours, the next reason is the pay might not satisfy a legal immigrant, and people born in America, another reason is it wouldn’t be able to support a regular American family, but they will be able to support an illegal immigrant. The downside is that the policymakers disagreement is the weak labor since the spread immigrants flow has made a dramatic change seeing that the H-B has issued down by twenty- five percent in 2010. The last reasoning is American people want to have a debate on if immigration is stealing American jobs, but according to evidence immigrants actually increases job opportunity and incomes of Americans. The United States of America, being a country founded by immigrants, is known all over the world as the land of great opportunities. People from all walks of life travelled across the globe, taking a chance to find a better life for them and their family. Over the years, the population of immigrants has grown immensely, resulting in the currently controversial issue of illegal immigration. Illegal immigrants are the people who have overstayed the time granted on their US, visa or those who have broken the federal law by crossing the border illegally. Matt O’Brien stated in his article “The government thinks that 10.8 million illegal immigrants lived in the country in January 2009, down from a peak of nearly 12 million in 2007.”(Para, 2) While some argue that illegal immigrants burden the United States of America and its economy, others believe that they have become essential and are an important part of the US, economy.

Immigration has always been a crucial topic in the United States government. Especially when it comes to giving amnesty and passing an immigration reform to 11 million immigrants, that live in the country. Many citizens believe that immigrants are detrimental to the well-being of the United States and do not agree with the passage of an immigration reform. One reason is that many believe immigrants take away the jobs of American citizens. Other reasons are that immigrants bring crime to the country and affect the economy.

The United States Government should not allow immigrants into America because they are having negative effects on our country. Some negative effects are citizens competing with illegals for jobs, immigrants expecting favors, and Americans not getting to work hard for their money.
